Media Discussion - 2023/24

Strange isn’t it. The normally xenophobic British football press with their WW2 obsession and Ingerland mentality suddenly find reasons to love a foreign club when they play us. This time they’re all wanking over Bellingham. It‘ll be an unbearable few days in the media if the gobshite little prick scores and Real beat us.

If we do get through and end up playing Bayern you can then expect a huge Harry Kane love-in and these cretins willing the England captain to win a trophy.

Fucking jealous cunts all of them.

Come on City!!!! Let’s show Bellingham why he should have signed for us.

bellingham would never have signed for us because his ego wouldnt allow it, despite his age he is the big fish at madrid until mbappe comes along he wouldnt be in the top 3 players at city and his ego wouldnt take that, you will see that next year when mbappe arrives.

Another day and another rant by the Forest plastic Rag about City.

My favourite part of this—apart from everything else he gets wrong—is that he fails to go on to point out that United, Liverpool, Arsenal, (and a few others) are the reason that Newcastle, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Villa, and others “can’t do what we did”.

They pushed for FFP and other regulatory restrictions to stifle us, only to ultimately hamper their own operations. And they even advocated for the constraints to be created in such a way as to create more financial peril for football clubs, not less.

He’s railing against us for screaming “Stop, don’t do it” whilst the other clubs took a rusty knife to their own faces.

It’s also worth noting that, save Newcastle, all of those clubs have American owners that would never actually do what our owners did in the first place, as their models are based on value extraction, not development. So it’s a bit of a silly point generally.

With a name like Brent Di Cesare no wonder he calls himself Mark Goldbridge. Imagine when he was in the cops, I bet he thought he was fuckin Poirot or funnier still Inspector Clouseo.
Do you ave a license for that minkey.

The press/media don't represent the general football fan.
I just been on a two day training course and as always go in my City hoodie lol.
There was a Chelsea fan, whu fan, spurs fan and Fulham fan. Not one mentioned the 115 not one. All said how much they hate the dippers and rags. None of them had sky or bt and watched on dodge feeds.

All said how we deserved our success after years of being shit. Nothing but praise.

Its interesting when you talk to proper fans we aren't as hated as the press/media want you to believe
This all day. The anger is from 12 year old virgins on twitter.

Jim White on the upcoming points for discussion……, “and finally if Guardiola completes the double treble, is it time for him to pack his bags and leave?”

Any other team and the question would be, “can they be considered the greatest team of all time?”

It really is clear and obvious.

What I don't like hearing reading is if we win the double treble do you consider Pep as one of the best managers ever! He is NOW we have the 100 point season the domestic clean up season the treble last season come on he is the best ever and this Man City team is the best team ever
