I had to laugh at The skysports “hit and miss“ article

The only mention of City is in a bit about how “Fulham needing a striker“ and the best bit how “Spurs have rediscovered their form before their biggest game of the season“

They are in pain lol :)
Why on earth would they call it their biggest game of the season?. They won't make top four, so I suggest the wankers over at sky have everything crossed that they take something off us

Think he’s a friend of savages, he’s been on before. These type of fans do us no favour. He might be a rag setting us up who knows ?
Probably one of those Rag Dickheads who used to ring up about 20 years ago singing "City are a massive club" before hanging up.
They did this because they're not bothered about City.

I only read this article today, but could not believe how biased and bitter it was. I've let The Guardian know my thoughts. I feel that it is increasingly necessary to call things out...perhaps I am a sad bastard. My guess that they are a Liverpool fan is tongue in cheek as it is stated clearly on Wiki. Here is my little note to The Guardian.

Hello, I read this article below.

It is a total disservice to both Arsenal and Manchester City who are both in a rich vein of form in one of the most competitive football leagues in the world. It was only recently that Liverpool fell out of the title race.

I feel that this article is a very negative and biased assessment of a very close battle between two very good teams. It is likely to go to the last game of the season. Most other major leagues across Europe have already been decided unlike the Premier League this year.

It reads as though the writer is possibly a little bit bitter about something, and I will hazard a guess that the journalist that wrote this is a fan of another club, possibly Liverpool.

I would expect The Guardian to deliver high quality and balanced articles, but sadly this article is very negative and partisan. A shame really, rather than being negative, why not celebrate a close run title race instead?

Best Regards

Against my better judgement I looked at the match report on the Guardian.

First off, the guardian hate our owners as they are the wrong sort of Muslims. To the Guardian, Muslims are an oppressed people and rich and powerful Muslims don't fit that worldview.

The comments underneath the stories are hilarious.

You can spot a utd and liverpool fan a mile off. All the talk of ruining football, no jeopardy, it's all inevitable and boring.

People actually had to point out to them that the league still isnt won and Arsenal could go top tomorrow.

What they really mean is it's not fair that my red shirt club isn't winning anymore!
Guess which European country is presently the odd one out in relation to their respective top flight football leagues: England, Spain, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, and Portugal.

Well put.

What a shocking piece that is, could you ever imagine him writing the same envious, bile driven, poisonous article about any other club?

He's a very strange person who I’d seriously suggest needs help, slagging off City fans because we know we’re being victimised, well fella it’s wankers like you who develop that particular narrative.

His hatred of all things City, the fans, players, Pep, the Club and even a Netflix documentary is palpable, let’s see what he writes about the Dippers when Klopp’s final season documentary is screened.

This fella is seriously hurting, imagine being in a job where, just a few years ago unbiased assessment of the football on offer was the prime objective. Now, these kind of “hacks” are just on line prostitutes who will sell their soul to the highest amount of click bait punters.

Why he can’t celebrate a tremendous battle to take the title is a little weird, all options are on the table including the winners taking the crown on goal difference, it couldn’t be much closer.

Disappointing to hear arrogance on 606 from that City fan calling some of the other teams cannon fodder. Some of our fans need to learn some humility. Cringe when I hear that shit on national radio!
My guess; is that they were likely a rag fan prior to jumping ship.

The majority of our recent (post 2008) fan base are more optimistic than arrogant.

Then there are those fans who are around my age group and still assume the worst will happen.

I genuinely get the impression that those arrogant Billy Big Bollocks types amongst us have defected from the other (dark) side.

I think one thing we have to consider is that after 16 years of this ownership group there's a generation of fans who have no conscious memory of us being anything other than a title contender.

I've been to enough Prem games in the Pep era where the atmosphere is very much just waiting for us to go 3-0 up, followed by a chorus of "you've seen the champions, now fuck off home".

It runs a little deeper than people might want to admit and some of our fans who didn't see the days where Gerard Wiekens was a big signing are a little spoiled in comparison.

Not to mention with the fan/media reaction to the FFP stuff, some fans have probably become a little vitriolic towards all other English clubs because of the shit we have to listen to.

We get treated like the evil empire, it gets to a point where some will just kind of just take that moniker and wear it.
