Daily Mail article about ‘tragedy chanting’ leading to arrests & bans, yep you’ve guessed it, pics of the dippers and mentions of the Munich disaster, with a pic underneath of City players approaching Taylor after he gave that pen at the emirates (you know, the one that’s never been given before or since) when separately talking about surrounding officials, two for one right there for the Fail, the irony is it was those two clubs singing it to each other for 20+ years that got us to this point yet they’re the apparent victims
Some of us are old enough to remember the vile signs they would both tie to the bridges on the M62 (and the East Lancs) every time they played each other.

I was in a bar in Sidari on Corfu. Packed out, as most of them were, and without my blue specs on I'd say it was about 60/40 for City. I was sat with a family of Wednesday supporters and they loved us. At full time I sat there, somebody near me had started peeling onions, and just let it sink in what we had done. The Wednesday fans were jumping all over the place as were a lot of other people, of all nationalities. Eventually I wipedmy eyes, came round and joined in ,but at the actual final whistle, I was not subdued, more like thoughtful.
It was a bit like after the play-off final in 1999, I wasn't joyous after the final whistle, I seemed to be more exhausted - the joy came later on the journey home.

Remember when we were really shit ?

Probably would have gone bust if we hadnt beaten gillingham. Going round the country in the lower tier of football, our self mocking songs our bananas. We had it shit but it was fun in away.

Now after those dark, funny not so funny times we had new owners come in. Kept their promises.
They have invested millions into East Manchester, helped in improving Manchester. They have spent millions on a state of the art campus, invested in the youth. If the youth dont make it at City theres a good chance they can make it else where be that football or ordinary work. Dont forget Citys education.

Citys work in the community.

City are now the best team in Europe, the world ?. Play fantastic football. Pep has changed the way 95% of football is now played in this country. Even England try to play Peps way.

Yet for this the press/media think we shouldn't like our owners, that they have taken away our soul, our mancunian. This press/media live in passed and think City should do the same. They can not see how much good our owner has brought to Manchester, our club and football in general. City are producing good quality youth players who might go to other clubs and improve them !

Ok we might moan about tickets, parking, no chips but that us being mancs lol.

We have the best owner in world football. We have the best run club in football.
We have the best team in the world.
We have the best manager in the world
We have the best campus in the world.

So if the press/media thinking going to turn my back on my club after all those years of being shit, laughed at, a joke of a club.

The press/media can do one.

I for one am glad we arent an American club, where owners take money out of football.
Football is a worldwide now and not just in little Britain as the press/media think

Grimsby is also infamous as a bit of a hotbed for racism and far right activity
Had reason to spend a bit of time there about 15 years ago. A town full of mutant cunts who would shag their sisters and rob their grandparents without a second thought.
A depressing shitpit where the town centre pubs are a breeding ground for society’s worst.
I was fairly happy when the kid who was the reason for me going got nicked and I never had reason to venture into that part of the world again. :-)

There seem to be a few "City fans" who celebrated the treble in a subdued manner and who have re-evaluated their connection with the club. WSC found one to write an article a few weeks ago.
Football has been about money, to an extent, for over 100 years. Anybody incapable of seeing that must live under a rock somewhere and therefore have a zero-value opinion.
The only slight disappointment at Wembley was that we hadn't ground them into dust and my joy at the final whistle in Istanbul was on a par with Aguero 93:20. Those who claim to be City fans but can't celebrate our success should get a different hobby.
The media seem to determined to find Uncle Toms in the fanbase. Or save that, just inventing them

Had a quiet moment myself before running down the streets singing
