There seem to be a few "City fans" who celebrated the treble in a subdued manner and who have re-evaluated their connection with the club. WSC found one to write an article a few weeks ago.It isn’t really that negative, but it’s a bit odd, based on how he thinks his City-supporting father-in-law might be feeling after winning the treble and imagining his celebrations were a little subdued. Couldn’t he just ask him rather than making stuff up?
I’ve tried this and taken up standing by my bed for days at a time. It’s boring but my calves are cocking enormous now. There seem to be a few "City fans" who celebrated the treble in a subdued manner and who have re-evaluated their connection with the club. Football has been about money, to an extent, for over 100 years. Anybody incapable of seeing that must live under a rock somewhere and therefore have a zero-value opinion.
The only slight disappointment at Wembley was that we hadn't ground them into dust and my joy at the final whistle in Istanbul was on a par with Aguero 93:20. Those who claim to be City fans but can't celebrate our success should get a different hobby.
I’m looking forward to seeing Grimsby relegated this season, what an ignorant twat. I’m surprised he didn’t say his kids were “radicalised”, Grimsby is one shit hole of a backward town. It's total bollocks. Essentially he is claiming that City have lost their moral compass because our owner is foreign. It's just racism really. Does he somehow think the club had some sort of moral superiority when we were run by that crook Peter Swales?
Like most of the twats published in the Guardian he thinks he has the right to tell us all what we think. If I was his father-in-law I would be pretty ashamed of what he has written. His references to his children "being claimed" as City fans because of his father-in-law comes across as a snide comment not a humorous one.
One set of the pairs were extras in Deliverance? The Glazers...
Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon...
Spot the difference.

Saw an interview on Sky about tragedy chanting, it was with a scouser from the football supporters federation or some such. He claimed tragedy chanting had taken off after the Paris CL final. He seemed never to have heard " whose that lying on the runway" or " theirs only one Harold Shipman". Dippers invented tragedy chanting, can give it out but run crying when they get it back.Daily Mail article about ‘tragedy chanting’ leading to arrests & bans, yep you’ve guessed it, pics of the dippers and mentions of the Munich disaster, with a pic underneath of City players approaching Taylor after he gave that pen at the emirates (you know, the one that’s never been given before or since) when separately talking about surrounding officials, two for one right there for the Fail, the irony is it was those two clubs singing it to each other for 20+ years that got us to this point yet they’re the apparent victims
I was in a bar in Sidari on Corfu. Packed out, as most of them were, and without my blue specs on I'd say it was about 60/40 for City. I was sat with a family of Wednesday supporters and they loved us. At full time I sat there, somebody near me had started peeling onions, and just let it sink in what we had done. The Wednesday fans were jumping all over the place as were a lot of other people, of all nationalities. Eventually I wipedmy eyes, came round and joined in ,but at the actual final whistle, I was not subdued, more like thoughtful. There seem to be a few "City fans" who celebrated the treble in a subdued manner and who have re-evaluated their connection with the club.
