Just read the ridiculous article referenced above, Keith Wyness who now runs a Football Consultancy business (ex Everton something or other) says " a big well done to Matt Lawton for breaking the story, it's all have to go on at the moment".

Wyness is the ex-CEO of Aberdeen, Everton and Villa. Fans of the latter two, at least, don't in my experience speak very highly of him, though his Wikipedia entry features an account of some impressive achievements for most of which, interestingly, citations are absent.

In recent months he's been actively whoring himself out to whatever purveyor of trashy clickbait nonsense could use a specious anti-City quotation from a relative nobody they can portray as vaguely knowledgeable. The execrable Football Insider outlet quite often features his half-baked opinions, for instance.

I appreciate that we all have to make a living and he's no doubt desperate to maintain some kind of profile to appear relevant. Nonetheless, Keith Wyness has to go down as yet another bad-faith liar we can regard only as a ****.

I’ve said this many times elsewhere and others make the same point - but come on City - fucking do something. How can we be the world’s best club - a superb organisation, wonderful team, the best management, the very best ownership - and be seemingly utterly clueless when in comes protecting our public image and managing relationships with an unremittingly hostile media. It’s really shouldn’t be that difficult.
The first thing I’d do today would be an untraceable leak of our full claim document - this would doubtless expose Lawton’s cherrypicking and spin - at least it would muddy the waters. I’m sure someone could find a full copy amongst some refuse in a back street in Abu Dhabi - “God knows how it got there” :)
But what do I know ….just an FOC fed up of us getting trashed and wanting to fight back.

What I don't understand is how Lawton is allowed to, basically, write about a case he has limited knowledge on?
Yes, he may have broke the story but now he's feeding titbits so that the hungry masses will have us 'guilty' whatever the outcome.

Not MSM but thought I would put it in here.

Domino's looking to pick up more social media traffic (does that translate to financial reward?), not particularly numerous as demonstrated below;

However this is the bit that troubles me is the use of the stupid websites description of the tweet - their use of the term 'hilarious' is so mis-used it's pathetic;

Such poor, poor journalism / clickbait wankers / wherever the job title is recognised as nowadays...........

Edit: And I've just spotted the Vodafone advertisements. Fuck right off!

He would of seen the full documents but took the side of kicking Man City not looking at why we are sueing seeing as we haven't for the last 12 years while the rules have been changed continually to stop us..

The truth about next Mondays hearing is its boring. The PL looked to amend a rule, City said it was illegal. The simple solution is to go to independent arbitration. Both parties will abide by whatever decision is made. As I say, boring.
The reaction of the media to the above is a disgrace. The Premier League will not be destroyed if we win, football will carry on.
Not one journalist has covered the story in an honest way. None of them has even bothered telling the boring truth, all of them have set out to attack us with an eventual aim of destroying us.
There is no integrity or honesty left in that putrid profession.
