I believe it's virtually impossible to cleanse your digital footprint

fully cleanse, yeah, but you can delete an awful lot.
If (like on here), someone has screenshotted or quoted your post, then it’s tough.
But you can clean up a lot.

I remember telling my (not young now) kids, that they should be aware that anything they write or post on any device is likely to be there for ever, so just make sure you never write something you might regret

Imo my view is that Holt, Herbert, Ladyboy and Raith Al Wotsisname take weekly turns at writing it for him such is the vitriol against City. All of them have A* form for that particular 'skill'...As a TV pundit he was usually quite fair and objective about City, unless we were playing his beloved Dippers, however the change in his narrative now is clear for all to see.
