Good idea. It definitely increases transparency.

It should also provide a central hub for the social media discussion that always follows these incidents. Having an official source which provides all the relevant information and an explanation will cut down on a lot of the conspiracy bullshit - especially if it has replays/graphics/freeze frames - because right now every time we get an edited, home made "freeze frame" of an incident that goes viral and really shapes the whole discussion in a misleading or downright false way.
