Yes it amazes me how other fans wanted us to lose the CL final. If the Premier Leagues coefficient goes down then the number of spots gets reduced from 4 to 3. They really are stupid.

I can't say talked because he wasn't that fluent and it was a case of him smiling at me and we sort of communicated in a type of pigeon English as they say.... am I still allowed to say that? Sorry if I'm not. I mean no disrespect.

I actually think VAR should be run by a completely independent body to the referees. I think its exactly like you say, they are afraid of overruling their mates and its designed to support the performance of the ref rather than highlight the clear fuck ups. Anyone in their right mind could see that was a pen last night and there just is no justification for it. They need sacking off and replacing with people who can do the job independently and competently.

The justification for it is to make sure the rags climb back to the top, there can be no other reason.

I wouldn't worry about that happening.

4 countries get 4 CL places at the moment, and England are miles clear of 5th.
From next season, it's 5 countries who get 4 CL places, and that currently means "are we better than Netherlands".

For England to somehow fall out of the top set would require something astonishing.
