Anyone of a certain vintage remember The Swamp being closed, beginning of '71 if my fading memory serves me correctly. They played at Anfield a couple of times, punishment for KNIVES being thrown randomly at visiting fans. Also following his father's death, Kevin Keegan turned out for Liverpool a few days later. The Stretford End sang loud & proud " Keegan Keegan how's your dad, Keegan how's your dad. Oh how they laughed!
They had to play a European home game at Plymouth due their fans behaviour. I also remember parts of the Stretford End directly behind the goal being closed off, again due to their fans

I worked with a rag who went to the FA Cup final when the rags played Brighton and he told me the following as he was sickened by it
At the time, Jimmy Case was playing for Brighton and his mum had passed away the week before the final
The rags sang "Where's your mama gone, Where's your mama gone"
