@peter.evans @mexico1970 I'm quite happy to discuss the difference in the media's attitude towards our club here.

Peter - Are you saying that in the last 20 years, you haven't heard "If you hate Man United clap your hands" finished off by "Munich, Munich, Munich"? Have you not heard the word "Munich" shouted between lines 3 & 4 of the Pablo Zabaleta song?

You also continue to compare singing about the death of Bobby Charlton to a United song about beating up a City fan. Have you heard our fans singing "If I die on Kippax Street..."? Where is the media coverage of either set of fans singing either song? There is none because it's a fictional assault on both sides. This really shouldn't be this difficult to explain. In what world do you expect a headline stating "Sick football fans chant a threat of physical assault to rivals"?

If Everton got a 12 point deduction they’d be absolutely fkd possibly for decades.

That stadium could be a millstone round their neck if they go down, then you have the likes of Leeds, Leicester and Burnley circling to take them to court for losses they have had for relegation. The Premier League could be opening up a a dangerous can of worms here.

One of my childhood memories from the 60's is getting home from Main Road just in time to catch the end of Grandstand and the match reports. There was a portly bloke with a tache who I think was called Dennis Smith and even at the tender age of 10 I could hear the disparity and bias in the way he 'bigged up' Man U's 1 nil penalty win and down played any City performance. Maybe after 55 years I should just let it go, but where's the fun

When did we last chant about Munich?? It might be fucking irrelevant to you but it isn't to me. It's hypocritical for commentators to apologise about the microphones picking up the odd swear word when thousands of rags chant ( Happy with that word? ) Why don't City fuck off home every single game. Actually I can't think of any club that still continually chant offensive words these days except the rag cunts.
Every week. See my post above to peter.evans regarding "If You Hate Man United Clap Your Hands" and "Oooohhh Pablo Zabaleta, he is a fucking manc" chants.

We had a decent debate yesterday and you made some valid points but wow, today you're claiming that you can't think of a single club whose supporters chant offensive words apart from United.

"The city is ours, fuck off back to London, the city is ours."
"Something's happening, happening to me, spent all my money on drugs and City."
"The Scousers' dream had fucking died." Did you hear any of these at matches over the last couple of seasons?

Leeds fans sing about Jimmy Saville, Liverpool fans sing about 'Manc bastards', Tottenham fans sing about being 'Yids', Arsenal fans sing about Tottenham being 'shite'...

Fortunately as perhaps with you ,it only served to increase my support for City, especially when just about every other kid on our estate attached themselves to the D/S

Yep club saying out is a waste of time but are the media the printed press allowed now to knowingly lie in print?

They do, often. Not just about us, they do about nearly everything.

The bar to correct and punish for a lie is too high.
