I am not a fan of that wanker Sutton but it is refreshing to see something printed that we are all thinking. Cheating rags.

Must be bad if Sutton is making these type of comments and the Daily Fail are printing them. I also would have thought that Mike Dean would have kept his mouth shut after admitting to ignoring the Laws of the Game to help a mate out The inconsistency in refereeing decisions is now worse than ever. For me United have picked up points from their games against Wolves and Forest as a result of glaring error. Referees and VAR not fit for purpose!

First thing I said when I saw the new "rules" for this year was that the "more leeway for physical contact" was specifically put in to allow defenders to rugby tackle Haaland like they started doing at the end of last year.
Indeed, and yet to breath in the direction of rashford is a punishable offence, peep-peep penalty to rags...

It’s always been the case that a defender behind the goal line plays everybody onside unless he’s actually left the pitch with the referee’s permission to receive treatment
Not always.

One of the recent "clarifications" that mean the laws are now more than twice the length they used to be since Stanley Rous revamped them in the 30s.

The media appear intent on creating a rift between Phil & Pep , whenthere are simple explanations for his absence yesterday and lack of game time last season , illness & injury , but they choose to ignore the facts.
The chances of Phil knocking on Pep's door demanding more game time are zero , he knows his value to the squad he has been rewarded with an excellent five year contract for his achievements and most of all he is a dyed in the wool blue.

Yeah. Interpret it as you like, haha.

The pen for Rashford was minimal contact - but contact. Penalty given. No way was the repeated holding of Harland minimal, or comparable. They (pigmol) keep setting themselves up for future controversy, when they don't allow that to be done to red shirted teams which, as sure as eggs is eggs. they will!

It happened last week when they rescinded Macalister's red. His foot wasn't knee high but off the ground and a full set of studs showing. The ref got the decision right and the bleedin cowards didn't back him. It stinks - as usual. The controversy is designed to perpetuate itself.

Dean is certainly showing himself to be anything but believable or trustworthy.

He has clearly identified that PiGMOL's members are quite prepared to ignore rules and specific incidents when it suits them.

So much for football supporters being able to believe that impartiality and trust will be a part of Webb and his crew of lackeys, running of a " clean game ".

Edit _ Webb must be fucking delighted by the efforts of Attwell btw !
