"While City can hardly be characterised as a plucky underdog, they believe the club is seventh in the list of net spend in the Premier League over the past five years, less than half that of Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal but also trailing Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa"

Well Simon, is it fact or not?
If there's ever a negative story angle about City - Simon 'Utd summer tour' Stone is your man.

what a ridiculous statement from stone, how can we believe figures, figures are finite, i cant go into the bank and go i believe their is a million quid in my account can i draw it out please, ladies and gentleman this is our national broadcaster and they are saying figures are matters of opinion.

Just watching the recording on BT. The applause for Viv Busby was joined in by all the Blues - not a comment or a shot of this on BT. Had it been liverpool or rags they’d have been lauded for it
To be fair the Dippers do grief a lot better than most. They'd probably had a massive Viv Busby flag with YNWA on it.
Not that I'm saying they'd make it about them.

According to Simon "Freeloader" Stone that net spend doesn't count,

"A substantial factor in bringing their figure down to £259m has been their ability to sell players such as Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Riyad Mahrez, Aymeric Laporte and Cole Palmer for huge sums.

None of these players would be regarded as automatic first choices and while they are part of the City journey, without them they are closing on becoming the first side since the English league was created in 1888 to win the top flight four seasons in a row".

Red hot journalism right there, finger well and truly on the pulse.

Absolutely nothing to do with tonight's match, Sunday's match or in fact any match.

Yet another soup sandwich article from this prick and his rag mardarse employers.

Countinho says hi….

We are always judged on different standards. Does the thick **** not realise those players were replaced.

At the next press conference Pep should ask Stone if he's going on the rag pre-season tour again this summer.
