Yes it was before 1975…..I was at Stockport college hence easier to get a day off! Definitely was Coventry and I remember the bomb scare!I recall a match or two being played on a mid-week afternoon. This was due to a work-to-rule by the coal miners (or the electrical union?) and the Government were trying to cut electricity consumption.
I thought it was earlier than 1975 as I was at Manchester University from 1971-74 and wouldn’t have been able to get away to a football match on a midweek afternoon in 1975. It was certainly aimed a Conservative Government and they were defeated in February 1974.
I can’t remember who City played. I do recall a bomb scare during a match where everyone was asked to look under their seat for a bomb before play resumed!

With all the inevitability of night following day, the Torygraph run their knife through us. Normally you have to search high and low to see if we get so much as a passing mention!
I don’t remember asking that bulbous nosed, freeloading, degenerate excuse of a reporter for sympathy, or the desperate, brain dead incapable of an original thought bellends he’s appealing to.Simon Stone resident wanker at the BBC:
"Few will have sympathy with City over their current injury issues.".
Doesn't even attempt to quantify that statement in anyway. Just a small example of the BBC driving a pro red club narrative and this fuck face letting the mask slip further and further that he's just a fucking rag. Might as well have one of the YouTube clan write the columns.
We don't want anyone's sympathy. Sympathy is required for those who suffer at our hands. It was regularly required for Klopp and Liverpool for some 6-7 years in a row and Arteta and Arsenal for the past 2 years.Simon Stone resident wanker at the BBC:

Beat me to it. Nothing to do with anything.Simon Stone resident wanker at the BBC:

I hope it does, it'll take a few games before the sorry arseholes realise that he's not brought his existing squad with him and they still have to play Slab Head and the rest of the misfits each and every game. You can always rely on the floppy haired c*nt to sensationalise every headline against City.
Astonishing!?
