Media discussion - 2024/25

One media outlet described it yesterday as 'Haaland threw the ball at Gabriels skull'. Its hilarious the media reaction to what was a proper game with plenty of big talking points. What exactly do they want? Boring matches where everyone loves each other? Maybe just matches where City don't get a last gasp equaliser.
They are never averse to urging teams to 'get stuck in' against us, yet react in fake horror over a playground prank.

I remember well the grief City got from the media for drawing 0-0 at home to the regs, when they had 1 shot on target in the 90 minutes and we had two! This was, of course, Mancini's fault and not in any way that paragon of attacking football from out of the swamp. And then there was the 0-0 draw at the Emirates which was again entirely Mancini's fault rather than St. Arsene's. The criticism of City went on for days at a hysterical level. Nothing like the brilliant defensive display from Arteta's team on Sunday: why they were so committed to positive football that their manager had to send a substitute to remind their 'keeper to go down because he was in such pain.
So if 6 accross the back with 3 sat in front on the edge of the box, with no outlet,is a defending masterclass, god help football.cant stand Lego head or his backroom staff and as for their fans getting hysterical because they nearly won the game, just remember you nearly won the league.we never got those tactics off the dippers when they were challenging city.

The poor fuckers were "snowed in" hence why the attendance was something like 32K. Didn`t stop us taking a load of fans.
Morons on 606 were seriously claiming Rodri wouldn't get in the tarquins starting line up, yet they are overjoyed about his injury. Then another buffoon was moaning that our equaliser was a last minute deflection. Short memories these tarquins.
