Didn’t the daft woman look down the camera and say wow! When it was announced?Still remember her kite when she had to announce we'd been awarded team of the year, couldn't bring herself to say it.

I usually respond to this often repeated myth with:Haley McQueen on SSN, "Manchester City have a huge, huge squad" ffs, do these presenters not do any research?
This is it. I seem to recall a journalist on Twitter with City ties had been to drop something off relating to Bernard Halford or something and someone at City had told him that not one journalist had been in touch to enquire about any of the charges, etc. I mean its likely we'd tell them to fuck off, but that fact speaks volumes anyway.Probably because of the poor, targeted, anti-City reporting.
Imagine a decent article or documentary on how this all came about - from Parry and Gill embedding themselves and making up rules on the hoof, the Arsenal letter, the pressure put on Masters despite CAS, the ridiculous 115.....etc etc. Now that would be journalism. Unfortunately we don't have Bernstein and Woodward anymore; just Stone and Holt.
She did indeed.Didn’t the daft woman look down the camera and say wow! When it was announced?
I had an Everton supporting mate say the same thing to me a while back so I picked him up on it and he said "OK then, not bigger, but better" and that was hard to argue with.I usually respond to this often repeated myth with:
"Can you name more than 20 City players from this "huge" squad?"
It's actually quite difficult without an extensive knowledge of City's Academy, and even that would contradict their whole "City have spent billions" argument
