The worst example of this for me was in 2011 and despite several contenders over the years since then, it still hasn't been beaten as far as I'm concerned.

I'm referring too, of course, the co-commentary from Peter Drury and Jim Beglin on our Europa League QF 1st leg game away at Dinamo Kyiv that year. Usually, I liked Drury's commentary on us (and I still do) but that night, goaded on by Beglin's often snide comments about City, he joined in what became 'The Andriy Shevchenko Show', with barely any attention given to City's efforts throughout the game. Indeed, on several occasions in the second half as City chased a 0-2 deficit, it was more or less accompanied with fits of laughter, whenever we had possession. Yet with every other British club it's 'rally round the flag boys, get behind.. (whoever)'. Most unprofessional.

It's been like that ever since 2008, with the Red Cartel's client, so-called 'journalists' doing their utmost to reduce and minimise our achievements on and off the pitch in order to monetise their articles via 'click-bait' and to keep in with the Cartel's hierarchies.
