Another united story on the BBC website from Simon Stone, this time about Onana - he's getting absolutely slated in the comments for single-handedly turning the BBC football website into a united fanzine.
Should see it now, main story: Live Man Utd training before crucial European tie.

Mind you they went over the top also with calling Villa Heroic for their comeback, which they still lost the tie.

Its just a Rag PR site, next to nothing on anything bar the Rags and Madrid these days

It’s deliberate the constant articles on the rags would make anyone visiting the bbc sport website that they are relevant and still challenging at the top,I’d go as far as saying they are being paid by the rags as well..

Main story on the BBC is the rags playing their game in the bobbins cup they are in, Arsenal get a small mention but not about the game or build up but about a stupid game.

Should be all about the tarquins but it isn't.

The constant media obsession acts as both United's security blanket and millstone. It helps them feel relevant whilst simultaneously pointing out that for a club so besotted size they've fucked-up big style.

However it won't last forever. There are too many other clubs now in the frame and they no longer boast the previous advantages and magnetism that used to attract so many casual supporters.

Have we ever had such a gushing write up from the Premier League after elimination from the Champions League?

Just waiting for the curtain to part revealing fans wearing period costumes and Unai Emery on mic shouting:

"Once again, good ebening ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Welcome to the Good Old Days."

Did the curtain come down at the end with everyone singing: Down at the Old Bull and Bush?

Just had a look at the comments. Looks like they’re deleting those comments. The responses are still there though.

Well this is interesting...https://www.ft.com/content/be4ad336-4e4c-4334-93f5-a1b9d4f117e0

Gerry Cardinale’s Redbird Capital Partners is drawing up plans to take control of the Telegraph in an attempt to bring an end to the protracted two-year sale of the British newspaper group, people briefed about the matter said. Under plans still being evaluated, the US private equity firm would reduce the stake of Abu Dhabi-based IMI in order to overcome objections from the UK government over having overseas sovereign wealth owning a majority of a British newspaper.
