Champions and no financial cheating to achieve it!!

Also no games played behind closed doors unlike the majority of city's win in 2021. Asterisk title*

Apparently this comment is deemed ok by our national broadcasting corporation regarding the dipper's imminent title win

I would say dodging FFP punishment by claiming a 60m stadium expansion evaluation allowance to cover huge losses is the definition of cheating

He will be PAYE on his salary, earnings from his wealth would be a different matter but as he’s being accused of spunking his wealth on bling he’s unlikely to be hoarding it.

Of course some of the coverage is sycophantic but think of the kids who benefited rather than the PR. Unfortunately there’s likely more kids in poverty now than in Covid.
Image rights are not PAYE bud. They all have companies.

The Nottingham post paper mocking City for failing to sell our allocation. What a moronic journalist for having to print a story about it, and she also had to mention the thousands of empty seats on show against Villa without doing any homework on the matter

Just before COVID, BBC did a Panorama about a subject I'd feel I'm pretty knowledgeable about. There was nothing in it that was a lie, but there was misinterpretation, one sided reporting, statements from people with no knowledge which weren't countered or challenged. It was a biased stitch up job that was basically click bait.

I now treat them with the same view I would the Daily Mail or Guardian - it's some of the news, but a very one sided view of it
I agree about Panorama. Similar experience, 2 x different programmes where I knew a lot about the subject matter. Views given were very one sided.

I don't trust the BBC at all, starting with the sports department, then the news and as for the weather on NW tonight -abysmal!

I wonder if these were the sort of insightful hard hitting stories she aspired to when deciding to be a journo.

Maybe more suited to a fanzine.

I was told on the 'protest' thread that we shouldn't be bothered by the 'empty seats' jibe..

Superb player.
A generational talent.

Once Amorim is fired, the new manager should bring him back on more money and a 10 year contract*.

Utd need the rasher. They are a marriage made in heaven.

*If only.
I'd go one step further and have Rashford as the rags long term player-manager.

Imagine how much motivation and man-management that constantly mard-arse twat could impart to his team.

When Rashford was appealing for school dinners whilst driving his own Rolls Royce, paying top tax rates he was being scoffed at by tax avoiding scumbags in state owned chauffeur driven Rolls Royce’s like Boris.

We really shouldn’t condemn people looking out for kids & it was apparent the tabloids were attacking footballers wealth in a period of the biggest wealth transfer from working class to billionaires.
It was a blatant PR exercise by his team. It had fuck all to do with feeding kids. There are many children in Manchester still going hungry and yet rashford is nowhere to be seen.
Don't forget this liar said he didn't read a book until he was a teenager. Did he forget the rags got him admitted to one of the best state schools in Manchester, via the back door I may add
