I remember years ago someone saying what will happen if there’s a national / international emergency & the public don’t trust or believe the life saving advice then covid came & the country was divided & still don’t know what to believe.

Lady man is right. Never liverpool players, with them winning the league, and players at forest, Bournemouth, villa etc. Recommending Player of the season coming from a club currently 14th in the league is journalism of the highest order

THE winner of the Football Writers' Footballer of the Year award tends to come from the team who win the Premier League.

This has been the case in seven of the last 10 seasons. Only once in that time when Mohamed Salah won it playing for fourthplaced Liverpool in 2018 has it escaped the hands of the top two.

This season that should change.

The most influential footballer in the Premier League has been Bruno Fernandes of Manchester

United and he has my vote.

It just goes to prove how they’ve almost all sold their souls for clicks as there can be no bigger demonstration of ‘click bait’ in action than this. What an absolute charlatan he is, as must be his editor.
