The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.

Which is what’s happening almost daily on the bbc transfer gossip page. Every day at least three players linked to rag scum, and boring shit about someone like Fulham, yet despite everyone knowing we need new signings there is almost never anything linking us to signings. That has to be deliberate from the bbc.

If you are expecting the BBC to change their tack, you are going to be very disappointed.

They set their stall out a long time ago with their shameless appeal for the rags and dippers. Knowing and playing up to their target audience of braindeads/lemmings is their proven strategy.

Using cunts like Roan and Stone as their main men simply prove the above.

Best to ignore imo

They have sold the red tops to the wider world for years using them to drive interest and profits, changing tack now would involve admitting they have been blowing smoke up their arses all these years.

Does seem like a bit of a strange fight to pick, to me at least. The amount of shit we’ve had thrown at us by other outlets, but we choose to publicly go after our local radio station over something relatively trivial? Bizarre.
BBC Manchester are rights holders to us in terms of radio unlike United. Also as the article mentioned, this has never happened to any top flight club in living memory. It was made clear that this is a culmination of numerous things rather than just a one off.

And we're not making a complaint on grounds of content, we're making a complaint that someone who we essentially gift the rights to and are a publicly funded national broadcaster are covering us in a way that they not covering any other team in the league now or within living memory.

The BBC are struggling proving their impartiality in so many areas not just football. United and Liverpool are the populist clubs in the UK and undoubtably must get more 'hits' than any other club BUT that is not the BBCs role. They are there to provide a public service not be cheer leaders for American owned businesses in exchange for tittle tattle from those clubs.
