My Geordie, Toon-loving pal over in York messaged me earlier re. the BBC footy page's preview of tonight's game 'Wayne Rooney's Plymouth versus Tom Cleverley's Watford'.Tomorrow's hard hitting story from the BBC - "Red: Why it's everyones favourite colour."
Interesting fact, my Mother-in-law grew up with him (and played out with his sister) in Green Bay, WI!

The British media sift through Ruben Amorins shit to see what foods make him a fuckin superhuman, super hero, first of it's kind, buliet proof kind of manager never been seen on these shores.
Talk about buttering the prick up.
This is only going to end in tears like the other 2nd comings they've had at the helm sworn in with white smoke and trumpets blaring and rose petals scattered whenever they walk.
An American sports website, must employ an ex-Pat soccer reporterLol, oh what an absolute disaster that would be. Where's that piece of shit from mate?
It's not the first paper (or expert) to look stupid.
And let's be clear I am not defending his views on City in any way shape or form. But outside of this forum, and Martin Samuel - where exactly are you expected to get information. Football is so polarised in the media hunt for clicks, balance and accuracy are no long important. Prof Hough is an expert in the theory of corruption , I have no idea about his knowledge or views on football. As such I assume his information will be from the usual media sources, and we know what they are like. If that's all you had to base you analysis on then you are not going to get the truth (or an approximation of it).
I don't doubt he's a rent-a-quote and it sounds great (for them or bad for us) that he came from the Centre for Studying Corruption but regards to his expert knowledge of this case you might as well ask Merson about the value of signing KDB.
More stupid questions in the embargoed version of today's presser.
Divide the gross amount by the number of trophies won :-)Thanks for clarifying. I just think to only quote gross, and without any other teams as context, and then it be unchallenged by anyone else, is poor stuff pal.
Sympathy doesn't win you trophies :-)unlike some other clubs...City don't actively seek 'sympathy'...
Fuk me this is getting mad. Won't have any channels left to pay for soon . . .Tomorrow's hard hitting story from the BBC - "Red: Why it's everyones favourite colour."
Sorry fella - you really can't be a blue saying any kinda shite like dat ffs . . . .Hate to say this but it's my favourite colour!!
What is the matter with this turd? When was the last time Stone actually generated a story from City. He has missed every story coming out of our club for years. He never gets any serious access to interviews because the club regard him with contempt. He is Manchester-based but doesn't properly cover the team which has won four-in-a-row even though they are just three miles from his office. He seems incapable of writing a simple factual report without making snide personal comments about our club. Is it asking too much to ask the publically-funded BBC to just cover Manchester City in a fair, balanced, accurate, and impartial way?
