That's exactly why it would have been humiliating? Given our consistent strong performances in the competition qualification from the initial stage is all but guaranteed? If the rags are relegated this season or even close to it do you not think that would be humiliating?
I'm not sure what you last paragraph means. Both arrogant and non arrogant people can equally be humiliated nor do you need to be non humble to be humilitaed.
Humiliation is finishing bottom of a group of four containing such serial European winners as Copenhagen and Galatasaray.

If the council have any sense they should not spend a single penny until the rags -
A - have all the money needed to build the stadium.
B - have passed all the relevant planning requirements.
C - signed a contract stating that all building is completed and area cleared of construction debris by a set date.
By the time they have got the money together they should be in the Championship and only need a 50k stadium.
I disagree.
IF the regeneration needs doing and IF the economy would benefit from moving the freight yard, then it should be done irrespective of thst shower of shit.
BUT, no one has ever said Old Trafford (the area) needs redevelopment. Well not until Scruffy got involved.
IMO it will all die a death because both parties are skint.

Seen it all now, just quickly caught a bit of Skys transfer show and fans of clubs were there asking questions ie Arsenal fan asking about Watkins. They then moved to a Brentford fan who’s question was not about Brentford but us and our January defender buys, are they panic buys ahead of a transfer ban.
Bearing in mind all callers will have already spoken to someone who asks them what they want to talk about....

Clear and obvious.

Nedum Enoha, excellent article on the BBC about injuries. Got me thinking though... We have the likes of Carragher talking about City and the charges from a non City pov, pundits talking about a sad day for football if we get off, across the board it is anti-City stuff on the 115 charges.

Why do we not, and more specifically, why has the likes of Nedum been instructed NOT to talk our corner (Nedum loves the club and has his own views on the 115 that are not MSM). But are our pundits being stopped from talking positively about City? Or is the club have instructed them to be quiet?

Thanks for that and bloody hell it looks like he has another new gig:

Nedum Onoha BBC SPORTS COLUMNIST

Means he will be doing regular and general opinion pieces. Suits him down to the ground and he already does a fair bit of work for them on TV and Radio anyway. Generally on the radio it's with the likes of Chapman (weekly pod and R5) or Crossman and, IMO, mainly free of the Stone/Roan type of bollocks and far removed from the red run social media side. It be great if he could have a few words with some of them...

Humiliation:
the feeling of being ashamed or losing respect for yourself.

Is that how the Club and its fans should feel if we had got put out?
Really?
I'd say the reigning PL champions and the club with the highest UEFA coefficient finishing in 25th place or lower would definitely have been humiliating. There's no other way to describe it truthfully.
