Caught a bit of the Monday Night Club on 5 Live last night, they were discussing the average age of our team on Sunday and the rebuild.
I didn't understand Chapman's question in how he started the discussion, as he asked the panel "City's average age on Sunday was 24 but Gary Neville said that they need a major reset, so which is it"
Surely the correct answer is that we need a reset and this began in January which explains why our average age has come down.

Anyway, the pundits were saying that our January signings were all rolls of the dice. They think Marmoush is a good signing but don't think Nico is and that he was just rushed in at the last minute before the deadline.
Slight correction.

"Surely the correct answer is that we need a reset and Gary Neville is a no-nowt ****, this began in January which explains why our average age has come down."

There were quite a few rushing to call David Silva a flop in his first season. Similarly, a few "experts" wrote Kevin de Bruyne and Yaya Toure off before they'd even kicked a ball for us!

I've not got any time for these "experts" TBH.

Whenever he opens his mouth he further confirms that his stellar managerial career never rose a full millimetre from ground zero!

The article fails to mention what might happen if we are found innocent.

We will not be found "innocent"
Anyone who believes that is chief cuckoo in cuckoo land.
We may be found guilty of only minor breaches , but do you think that will be "innocent "
It wasn't after the CAS judgement and it won't be after this judgement, it doesn't fit the narrative.

I reckon you could look at any of our legends in recent years and find an expert that has written them off as no good.

Some before they'd played a game for us.

I expect the media to now say it's became a boring and predictable season with the PL title pretty much already won by Liverpool in February.

Will the fuck!

They will be fawning over Slot, VVD, Salah, and the Liverpool team for the rest of the season until the lift the PL trophy in May.
The boring and predictable bit comes when City are 10 points clear next season, they will also throw in that its not fair and we can't compete. Oh and the standard of the league is so poor. We've heard it all before.

I’m going off what Kaldoon said, that we took a pinch last time, but we’re not taking one this time.

Even Haaland was considered a risk & after breaking all scoring records winning trebles & 4 in a row he’s a league 2 player.

It's not off topic. He was making the point that fans of the American owned clubs and their puppets in the media are being hypocritical when they denounce the human rights record of Abu Dhabi.

For me it's a slightly tenuous link (but I see his point), but it's not off topic.
The owners of said clubs aren't in or linked to the US government though are they? So it is more than slightly tenuous
