sums up the whole cult. crying (either literally or pretending to for the purposes of his message) to convey ‘this means more’ and living 200 miles away.

He's probably going to give the shrine under the stairs a lick of paint later.

Laughable. We've won it 6 times in that period, yet they're trying to share the glory or rewrite history

It was the same when Utd dominated. Slur Alex banging on about the rag dipper rivalry being the real derby as a way of pissing on us, and the needy scousers kissing his arse, grateful for relevance by association.

The dippers are also rans, winners when we don't turn up.

People complaining there is coverage of Liverpool, we have the same coverage when we win the league, trust me. I record it all. Rightly so, they are the champions of England. We take our medicine and move on hopefully with an fa cup win. The ESPN post is a shocker and them kind of posts I understand the uproar. Sky and such like covering a title win, I think is acceptable
I'm not sure about this.
I went out yesterday after our match and had 5 Live on the Radio which was from Anfield after the match had finished. The coverage seemed way more OTT than it ever was when we won a league.

Maybe thats just my paranoia.

Honestly wouldn't bother too much with any media coverage on Liverpool.

They won the title. Its always going to get big coverage.

We weren't in the title race. Who actually won doesn't matter.

It is, Sky sports news yellow ticker for the rest of the day/evening when we win it. Outside the ground if it isn't won a day we are playing. Lots of coverage. Not denying there wont be loads for Liverpool and maybe even a touch more to pander to the masses but it shouldn't offend anyone.

Apart from the 10 Liverpool articles in the Daily United/Liverpool, I've not seen much about the title win. Saying that, X/Twitter will be awash with posts from Jan and his mates in Norway posting about Liverpool winning the title 20 times.(when in reality LFC have won the PL title 2 times)

On the plus side, City have 1 article in the Daily United lamenting Forest hitting the post 3 times, and highlighting the empty City seats.

It means “more” but not enough for him to get off his fat arse and travel 200 miles to the game. And a fan since 1978 eh? - that must have been a particularly hard time to pick a team 200 miles away to support. I wonder what made him pick the 1977 league winners European Cup winners and FA Cup runners up to support over anybody else. Such hardship

BBC chiefs have pushed for another 3pm kick-off for the FA Cup final - because of the Eurovision Song Contest | @johncrossmirror

Looks like bbc got supporters needs in mind so we can get home to watch singing competition
Is that on his X account mate? Just had a look but can’t see it - any chance you could post the link ta?

Edit. Just found it myself

I've always said you can age a non-attendee football fan by knowing which team was winning the most trophies in their formative years.

when you think boxing matches can start at 23:00 UK time it's not inconceivable at some point the FA Cup Final will follow suit. Should just move Wembley to Saudi and have done with it.

Amazing that the FA Cup Final hasn’t already got a confirmed kick off time. We already know the date and that two teams would get through. What could possibly be in jeopardy?

The BBC absolutely love Eurovision as it's been part of their "Light Entertainment" offer for decades..
They would probably want the Cup Final played on another date, as there seems to be tons of BBC staff involved - on the Telly as well as the radio...
