Now do one for league games only.

His 36% must include 6/7 or more Europa games.
His league win rate is 24%. Had Nunes not been playing it would have been 20%!
If his points per game was repeated over a full season they’d have finished with 36 points.
What I’d not realised was how Pep was playing the long game allowing us to collapse at Sporting……….

ahhh..Peps game is deep...

Have Abu Dhabi been allowed to backed the purchase of the Telegraph today? Can't make head nor tail of it? On Sly News website.

A £500m deal to end the two-year ownership impasse at the Daily Telegraph has been agreed "in principle", it has been announced.

A consortium led by US firm Redbird Capital was set to take control of Telegraph Media Group (TMG), with state-backed Abu Dhabi investment vehicle IMI among the investors.
I thought Redbird sounded familiar.
They have a stake in Liverpool.

Yes it’s been approved.
Why is a consortium led by an America investment management firm allowed to own a British paper but an Abu Dhabi group (albeit state backed) isn’t.

With Redbirds involvement doubt we will get any good press out of the new dipper paper.
So fuck the Telegraph with all the others.

On the subject of redbird which to my knowledge holds a stake in Liverpool.

Was anyone aware that Sheikh Mansour holds a stake in Redbird? (According to Wikipedia)
Therefore Sheikh Mansour has investments in the dippers?

Have MCFC done something to piss Sly Sports off?

All the talk this afternoon is on who can secure a champions league spot. Five teams vying for three places.

The presenter seems to be obsessed on the permutations that will see City finish outside the top five.

So far the only team he's mentioned that could finish outside the top five is MCFC. You would think we're currently sat in seventh not third.

I believe the government lifted the "ban". Not sure if they'd continued the bid?

The owner of the Daily Heil was looking at buying it too.

think he's only allowed to hold upto a 15% stake in the telegraph, so has to sell a chunk of his stake. but not all.

I don't think its that we've pissed them off. Think it's more to do with the fact they recognise that their subscription base is mostly United and Liverpool fans, and they're probably afraid that any praise given to us will cause them to lose numbers. So they get alot more out of criticism and ignorance of our achievements, because it's what they're sky TV customers want to hear

Especially with Liverpool fans, they're F*ckin petrified of them after they got the Sun banned from sale within their city.

Who was the journalist, that at the start of the season, suggested pep was being overshadowed by the new smarter manager in Amorin?

No.

RedBird Capital Partners:
A private investment firm founded by Gerry Cardinale, focusing on sports, media & entertainment, and financial services.

International Media Investments (IMI):
A global media company based in Abu Dhabi, owned by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

RedBird IMI:
A joint venture between RedBird Capital and IMI, investing in companies across various media and entertainment sectors.

If that’s the case I wonder if he’s a Stoke fan in only quite a lightweight way then. I’ve got mates who support Bolton, Stockport, Sheff Utd, and Chester to name but 4, and they all know KDB is from Belgium. I suspect the truth is that he’s probably not much into football at all, and it was someone in the script dept on the wind up of Blues. And in my case, it worked.
6 fingered Rodg started on Signal in Stoke as a football commentator competing against his dad Nigel who did same job on BBC Stoke. He then covered the rags on gmr before going south for local tv news. He returned to BBC North West to replace our Gordon. Supports Stoke obviously likes the rags and hates us, smarmy c##t.

Forest ban Neville.

Now… that’s a nice precedent to set, and presumably with no or little penalty.

So, City PR, can we ban Wio, carragher, Neville (for starters) from ever commentating at our stadium ever again for a PL match?
