Or even the U21 tournament. Why did the BBC and Sky not take up the rights to the CWC? It seems like a massive error of judgement because it's going to be hugely popular

Likely bbc discussion:Why did the BBC and Sky not take up the rights to the CWC? It seems like a massive error of judgement because it's going to be hugely popular
I'm not sure it's going to be popular at all. Not sold out a single game so far. Most of my non city supporting friends even know it's on.Why did the BBC and Sky not take up the rights to the CWC? It seems like a massive error of judgement because it's going to be hugely popular
think it will come alive at the knockout stagesI'm not sure it's going to be popular at all. Not sold out a single game so far. Most of my non city supporting friends even know it's on.
The kings of the Agenda-Driven Rhetorical Question strike again.
I'm sure the answer they're hoping for is that rags would magically sell out a ground despite being fooking shite.

"Player washing"Talksport have repeatedly acted in bad faith with their coverage of City. We don't need to provide the ammunition for them.
I watched some of that With Jordan too,"Player washing"
Was the new phrase from the Rich Robbie Savage.
He gave the blue no chance as soon as he opened his gob. Jordan made his money by exploiting workers and bankrupting those firms. As soon as he heard the word trade union he went into one of his GB News auditions.
Exactly what I was thinking .Something along the lines "butcher carry on with your 2 footed stamps cos you'll never get sent off for it while playing for utd"
Yeah I'd rather watch him lol
Tell it to the 30000 Boca fans who was in Miami yesterdayI'm not sure it's going to be popular at all. Not sold out a single game so far. Most of my non city supporting friends even know it's on.
And it being played 4000 miles from London and 2000 miles from Los Angeles…Probably nothing to do with it kicking off at 3 o'clock...and most Americans having about 3 days holiday a Yr!
they didnt seem to think sending someone out to report on 2 rag friendlies immediately after the season had ended despite neither of them coming close to selling out was pointlessWhen you watch most EFL matches there are vast swathes of empty seats - do the BBC think this competition is a waste of time too?
Very small crowds for most of the matches at those Euros. Just proves how the media manipulates the narrative and gullible people lap it up every time.Blatant the narrative they are trying to create. The cynic in me would say they are trying to build a case to get clubs not good enough to qualify by getting them wild card.
The funny thing is I remember when tournaments were judged on the football & not the attendance's. I thought I’d remind myself of Euro 96, the blockbuster tournament at the home of football with top international nations & europes greatest players playing in front of empty stadiums in Stretford, Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham & Nottingham.
Just a quick scan tells you there was 12k empty seats to watch Zidane’s France in the semi final.
