I've been sent this several times today by the bitters.

My first response was - City must be doing well again? They couldn't challenge for the league this season we heard at the start of the season as they were in a rebuild and hadn't the squad. It was between Liverpool and Arseanl.

You could do the same with any top club. They all have £40m - £60m signings on the bench these days.

Chelsea - splurged the 250m that he's crying about in that tweet on 2 midfielders in Enzo and Caicedo, along with god knows what else and have won nothing.

Liverpool - £500m spent last summer, 5th and can't win anything

Arsenal - Rice £110m, Zubimendi £60m - lets inflate that to £90m for effect like they've done with Reijnders, Moreno £40m, Norgaard £20m - ohh boo hoo they're spending so much on midfielders i'm deeply upset.

United -
Hojlund 80m, Mount 67m, Onana 40m, Antony 90m, Sancho 80m - to name but a few - all then binned off.

As I said, you can do it with any club if you were that desperate for attention.

So pep’s off to manage Italy according to talksport. Every time there’s a positive city article it normally comes with a picture of pep with his head in his hands. Yet the pep to leave city and manage Italy is accompanied with a picture of pep looking happy and smiling. I hate these cunts so much!

Looks like he forgot about spending 45m on Partey and him not being good enough, then spending 100m on Rice and him not being good enough, then spending 32m on Merino and him not being good enough, then spending 51m on Zubimendi and him not being good enough.

Think they’ve also forgotten about the “financial luxury” of all those loans they were allowed to use.

And completely made up that Reijnders was 70m. The useless **** was 40m. And completely made up that Gonzalez was 65m. He was 50m.

The thick Tarquin **** also over inflated feeds paid for Nico (who was signed afrer Rodri was injured by one of their trophy dodging thugs) and Reijnders and omitted the fact that most of their billion pound squad of serial runners up was funded by interest free owner loans.

Stoned Rose, I think you're being mean to the poor delicate lambs. Unnamed footballer never mentioned till he left them, as for buying both Aubamyang and Pepe, 2 strikers even Alan Ballsy Ball wouldn't have entertained! To say nothing of titles bought with blood diamonds and interest free owner loans? Or George ex rag Graham liking a bung? Or Poaching Herbert Chapman and most of the title winning Huddersfield team of the 30s? Or being almost as obnoxious as odious spursy?!?!

If they get through to play Leeds ( who the media also hate) it will be " 50 years since Southampton beat a team called United at Wembley." They will constantly state the whole country will be cheering the Saints, they should go to Portsmouth and say it. I always say better to be great and hated than shit and loved, we've certainly been both in my life time.
