On 5 live just after 7 this morning the presenter said Arsenal lost their top spot after being USERPED by Manchester City. Just to clarify To USERP has the definition.

It's almost certainly a journalist not knowing the meaning of a word, rather than someone trolling City fans.

They used to use the term "champions elect" all the time all the time, it is just artistic licence.

The fact Grim had to look it up then still spelt it incorrectly twice in the post shows if they were on the wind up they hit the target audience.

I'm not a man of words! Yes I misspelt it, but I immediately knew when I heard the piece to air what the twat meant . He is a man of words and I suspect he knew exactly what he was saying.

Yep like clockwork, there was a piece on talksport with Natalie Sawyer about the 115 stuff. Had some journalist talking about it and why its taking so long blah blah blah, he sounded quite rational until he went on about how we could take settlement like Chelsea, which I believe that ship has sailed a long time ago.

Pep was always going to be included with only having 1 season left and not letting them know if he's renewing or not. What I find interesting is that Arteta isn't included? If the "Quadruple winning team elect" end up with sod all (again) surely the higher ups will begin to question why?

Arteta’s career will be all but over after his destruction of Arsenal’s reputation. Not much demand for a Spanish Tony Pulis.
