Media discussion - 2025/26

Yeah, I was wondering if they justify it by the non cooperation fine we were handed.
It seems like a reach though.
I will not be taking a lesson on the legality of anyone from a institution that knowingly hid so many nonce's in it's midst and still most likely does to this day the hypocrital bastards.

As a fan I've become immune to what all the so called experts write about us. I've stopped reading, that helps. It must be galling for the players who have played so admirably and broken record after record. It's them I feel sorry for.
I wouldn't say that I'm immune to it, chiefly because I spend a lot of my time on this forum berating the bastards for it.

However, I have accepted the fact that the media will never recognise MCFC as an equal shareholder in the Premier League.

We will always be regarded as the garish gate-crashers who broke up the top four and ruined the status quo for the red tops.

That's something they'll never forgive us for.

I suppose I'm used to it now as opposed to immune to it. I do experience quite a lot of unconscious bias so I see it everywhere these days.

did Pep get any question on the rivals high / obscene spending this summer in the presser? because if we would be spending like Liverpool Arteta, Slot, Maresca all would get questions about it probably a directed question like "how it can be allowed for them to spend this big"
No,as it’s not City then it’s fine to spend spend spend..

Cockroach Stone will be first up later asking Pep some shithouse question. About time the fucker was banned.

I wrote to the BBC about him:

"Stone is described as Chief football news reporter, however, he almost exclusively reports on Utd, including being sent to follow them around the world at the expense of the licence fee payer. No other team receives this level of support and the suggestion is that the BBC shows a massive bias towards this club, possibly because you employ people at your salford base who are Utd fans."

This is their reply (I wonder how many times they have copied and pasted the same bullshit as a response?):

Simon's role is to report on Manchester United for BBC Sport. He is one of a group of senior journalists that cover specific Premier League clubs for us. As you would expect, part of Simon's role is to cover key events involving Manchester United, and this is the same as our other writers following their assigned club at key times.

We can assure you, that we’re always mindful of the costs and finances behind putting together our output, while at the same time trying to provide the best possible service to our audiences.

Recently, with the season having almost drawn to a conclusion, one of the talking points in the world of football has been Manchester United's post-season tour to Asia, which stood out amongst the calendars of all other Premier League clubs. The tour had prompted much discussion and debate, with the team flying to Malaysia almost immediately after their final match of the season.

In this context, we felt it was newsworthy for our audience to feature an insight into the tour's progress. The tour wasn't without incident, and saw several widely talked about moments, including an open top bus tour before United's loss to ASEAN All Stars, where the team were booed off by a large proportion of a 70,000-plus crowd. Amad Diallo was pictured giving an obscene gesture to fans, there was speculation and tension around Alejandro Garnacho's future, and we were able to gain access to several press conferences and interviews.

With all of this in mind, we feel this brought value to audiences, but we recognise you may continue to disagree.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We’ve discussed your concerns with the team at BBC Sport, which helps inform decisions about current and future content.

The bottom line is we've been out of sight for the last 6 seasons and they can't handle it. Last season being an exception. We've been bloody brilliant and any City that whines needs fucking hanging
G.

The BBC are currently running an article (with a HYS) about the pressure on Slot due to the £ 300m spend, didn't even bother to read it but had a brief look at the HYS, the top post is from a guy who suggested that if Slot won no other P L title for the next 8 years he would have equaled Klopp, so not much pressure on Slot.
The next comment in reply to this was from a guy whose point was that Klopp was up against "the cheating Man City Juggernaut" so did great to win one title.
Just to test it out I reported this comment under the guise of it being defamatory, as the result of the investigation had not been announced - to my surprise the comment was taken down

I didn't watch the whole match last night and was just catching up on the racism incident. Why is it that neither Sky's site or the BBC's can bring themselves to say that it was a toxic Liverpool supporter responsible? SSN seem incapable of mentioning the fact as well.

I found it interesting listening to Jamie Carragher give his opinion on it…..

Scarlet Shamoon, the cartel's new BBC buffoon.
How can such an incompetent and brainless stringer have been given the job of correspondent of a major football club?
His written output consists of the same three pathetic scripted sentences in every report and his questions at the PCs are without exception simply toe-curling drivel.
