They want us to feel sympathy for spending all this money because Jota died, shameless the fucking lot of them.
Questions about Jota's death, no-one in the media dare to ask.

Why did Jota drive in the middle of the night?
~ To catch a ferry in the early morning for pre-season training.

Why did Jota not fly to Liverpool?
~ He wasn't allowed to fly.

Why wasn't he allowed to fly?
~ Because he was recovering from LUNG SURGERY!

Why did a fit LIVERPOOL player require LUNG SURGERY?
~ The question answers itself.

I don't know about "insensitive" but, if true, it's "informative"

Quality journalism (inflating grealish and reducing Wirtz). Classic.

What do you expect?

It's the media.

Surely, you can no longer be surprised by this blatant gaslighting.

Nothing will ever change in the media, unless we end up in the footballing wilderness like the rags.

As long as there's a chance MCFC continues to pose a threat to the cabal, then this propaganda will keep on getting churned out.

And most of it is orchestrated from LFC’s PR department.

That department must be on their mobile phones 24/7 tapping up all their red shirt loving media mates.

Fuck ne, pass me the sick bucket. He was purchased because they want to win the league in 2028? The master strategists at the swamp showing their Machiavellian methods of operating, let’s cut to the chase. When splashing all the money on their forward players (One that cost over £70 million with one year left on their contract). They completely forgot that the rest of their squad which finished 15th last season was dog shit. Only when the season kicked off again they realised both their keepers were terrible, panic purchased in the last day of the window for a keeper from a very poor league.

Nothing else to see here and why do they keep setting themselves up for a piss taking about they are going to win the league by 2028. That is two season away after this, two seasons where they will be sacking their current manager and starting another rebuild.
I have a feeling the rags will shattered their own record of penalties won in any one season, in 2028.
Just call it a hunch

They are doing really well with all this help every week aren't they.

Sarcasm noted, and you rightly recognise that the shitshow of a club does manage to fuck most things it touches up, without outside help.

Wonder when the media whores will give up feeding oates to the dead horse though ?

Sorry, stupid rhetorical question as the answer is never due to the need to feed the braindead.

The relief when pep leaves from the media slags will be off the scale. Then the praise and recognition will come
Yes it will.

However, it could also go the other way (as incomprehensible as it sounds) if he were to fall off a cliff, and the whole thing completely unraveled.

Of course they would highlight all the silverware that we've won with Pep in charge, but if he left the club with a whimper, that would piss the media right off.

Let's not forget MCFC were winning titles and silverware before Pep arrived, and we'll continue to win silverware when he leaves.

The media are going to do what the media do. It's just background noise. The key is to see it for what it is.

I spent quite a few years getting riled up about what the media had to say. So much so, that it was becoming a distraction from my enjoyment of the game. Then it dawned on me; this is part of their objective to deprive our fans of enjoying the clubs glittering array of achievements.

Once I had that insight, it became clear to me that the media are impotent, if I choose not to buy into their narrative.

It is truly strange how every article has to have a racial dimension with the Mail. One League Cup doesn't make Newcastle a juggernaut and 23 per cent of City is US-owned. Herbert seems to have been seduced by conspiracy theories. I am not saying Geopolitics doesn't exist in football ownership but to reduce it to a simplistic Arabs v USA rivalry is absurd. Then again Herbert wrote countless story about the "slave labour" conditions in the Gulf without mentioning that most firms in that region (especially in construction) are operated by US and European firms, many of whom are happy to breach local labour regulations on a regular basis.

This has to be the best one so far.

Surely this gem from Sly Sports News won’t be beaten?

I’m surprised they didn’t show Grealish fee in the old Turkish lira. Remember all those 00000s on the notes.

The new holding rule working well for them.
We got a soft pen at Old Trafford when that rule was barely in play.

First game of the season Arsenals goal should have been disallowed and United probably should have had a pen. Fulham game they got a pen that probably wasn't whilst scoring a goal that should have been disallowed. Burnley game they wrongly got awarded a pen, VAR correctly overturned it then got a pen for a blatant foul at the end. Fulham and Arsenal probably outweigh each other and Burnley was fine from what I watched.

That and them finishing what 15th last season and 8th the season before, I don't think they are really benefiting from favorable decisions

They don't get help on the pitch any more. That much is true. Media wise - they sadly have a big following online so doing bad or good they will hammer it home for the clicks and income. That won't ever change.

They might not do that but have you noticed how he’s the new footballing messiah?
Now, don’t get me wrong, I do like Jack and I actually wish he was still here, but to suggest he’s some sort of ‘Messianic’ figure now he’s at Everton is hugely laughable.
