City V Dortmund pre-match report.

This suggests Dortmund - who visit Manchester City on Wednesday - are interested in developing the 20-year-old over time.

Try reading today's Guardian newspaper report on this match.
Always thought the Guardian reported impartially, with just the facts.
It seems to be just another arse-licking reporter (Andy Hunter ?), waxing lyrical about them...
The BBC and the Guardian, once seen as journalistic bastions of fairness and impartiality. Now exposed for lies, bias and deceit

just had a flick through the sky sports app and a lovely little 4 minute video tittled " Liverpool's most iconic goals against man city" couldn't for the life of me see any of ours against them... they are a fkn joke
Desperate for a red scouser win on Sunday to set up a arsenal Liverpool title battle with City shattered and left rummaging through the remains of their season..

They were desperate for a Bournemouth win, ditto Dortmund. Almost as if they see us a threat again and don’t like it.

Seems the beeb are pushing the 'city are, and always have been, a one man team' narrative again

"Four years on (from Aguero leaving) , do City find their fortunes tied once again to the fitness and form of a lethal striker with unique attributes and singular talent?

They have always said City are a one man team
The problem is, the idiots could never decide who that one man was
Back in the day it was Tevez, Sergio, Yaya, David, Vinny or Kev
Nowadays it’s Rodri or Erling. Or maybe even the keeper
It’s bitterness, nothing more

City are Schrodingers team.

We either are failures because we don't have a central striker who can drag us through against relegation strugglers who use the low block (and we win the league) or we're overreliant on a central striker who can drag us through against relegation strugglers who use the low block (and we win the league).

Yep.
THis whole 'relying on Haaland for goals' is top class bollocks.
It is a very simple and obvious piece of analysis, which doesn't seem to be quoted for other prolific strikers and their teams.
But, and Pep said it too, the other players need to step up and score goals.
Phil was excellent (again) last night, which will build his confidence and make opponents start worrying about his undoubted goal threat.
Add the fact that Cherki is now a direct and fearless attacking midfielder and City are beginning to share the goals scored.
Happy Days !!!
