They have always said City are a one man team
The problem is, the idiots could never decide who that one man was
Back in the day it was Tevez, Sergio, Yaya, David, Vinny or Kev
Nowadays it’s Rodri or Erling. Or maybe even the keeper
It’s bitterness, nothing more
We struggled without Yaya from 2011 to around 2015, same with Rodri more recently.

We always coped without the rest, including Haaland when he was injured before Luton away.

Dippers Sunday.

Just waiting for Foden having a piss in a pub on Stockport or some other meaningless bullshit.

It is a very simple and obvious piece of analysis, which doesn't seem to be quoted for other prolific strikers and their teams.
But, and Pep said it too, the other players need to step up and score goals.
Phil was excellent (again) last night, which will build his confidence and make opponents start worrying about his undoubted goal threat.
Add the fact that Cherki is now a direct and fearless attacking midfielder and City are beginning to share the goals scored.
Happy Days !!!
Cherki could have had at least one last Sunday but decided to give it Haaland instead.

Key players are always missed, but City always find a way to challenge the others to up their levels
KDB had a 3 or 4 seasons of injuries and everybody started saying we will struggle without him, but i think the stats show we won more without him in a period of not playing,

This New Squad will be the same. Pep will find a way to play and win games

I've posted this before but it 's become relevant again as we are successfully rebuilding a new exciting team." It's a combined attempt by the British media (bbc, sky, tnt, newspapers) to undermine MCFC, any chance they get to report any negative facts about our club are twisted to suit there cause , it's because Sheik Mansours business acumen has destroyed the old guard of English football . There are numerous examples I could give you , crowd size , Peps opinion, numerous negative commentary mentions about any match we have ever lost not scored or not qualified and that's only this week ,but don't worry I've been a City fan over 50 years it has never been better than it is today. the blue juggernaut is still rolling forward collecting trophies along the way. keep the faith and get behind it."

Yep.
THis whole 'relying on Haaland for goals' is top class bollocks.
At the weekend the comms " Thats Erlings 1st touch in 11 minutes" ( which they were wrong about) then proceeded to go on about how long weve gone since a non haaland goal...........after NOR scored it was all about our next highest scorer has 1 ..their jealousy is for all to see

At the weekend the comms " Thats Erlings 1st touch in 11 minutes" l....
It's such a random and redundant statistic too.

A) like every other striker, his performance is measured in goals not touches. (B) iHis number of touches is not even indicative of anything unless they tell us how many touches say, Kane or Isak have per goal. (C) Has any of them ever said how many touches per game Erling should be getting?

Risible too how if let's say, Kane again, wasn't getting enough touches, they'd definitely complaining about how he's not getting the right service - but not our lad, no, this lack of touches is entirely down to him.

Of course, when we do bring him into the game more and he's scored 20-odd goals by November, apparently " they're winning wrong, Jeff" - like they give a fuck if it all cones unstuck for City?

Their desperation is laughable

This guff has been up on the sky sports news app all week.
Bless the red cartel arsekissers for keeping them red mardarses in the news on Champions League week.

Piss funny.

City are Schrodingers team.

We either are failures because we don't have a central striker who can drag us through against relegation strugglers who use the low block (and we win the league) or we're overreliant on a central striker who can drag us through against relegation strugglers who use the low block (and we win the league).
Not quite right, a Schrodinger's team would be neither, but would become one of the above when you looked ;)

How the fecking hell is this news ?
Am glad UEFA also blocked the buffoon from entering the ground, as a fan.
He was there to cause mischief, also prepared to do whatever his American paymaster demands.
Hopefully, he will be allowed into a proper "Derby atmosphere" at a ground where his bantz turns into an interesting incident where Spitty drops his guts...

BBC sport (teletext) yeah still works on older tv sets, have a piece on good old Joey Barton.
It says how the former Man City player (who also played for but not mentioned) Qpr,Newcastle,Burnley,Marseille,Rangers and England and has also been a manager.
Joey this week has been in Liverpool crown court regarding his tweets calling out
a couple of female pundits who to be honest I don't have a clue who they are and Jeremy Vine.
So because it's a negative story the cunts just name our great club, but if Joey was a media arslicking
whore and shockingly just be made a sir then it would be any of the other teams he played for.We would
be completely ignored.

Sadly I check it out all the time... There was a hoo-ha when they tried to close it down on cost grounds but the DM and FOC's got behind it and it was reprieved.
The quality went downhill and when I delved deeper, quite often they just copied the start of articles directly from the net and because you only get, generally 3 pages on the telly, it made no sense at all.
One of the scruffy gits you see wandering around, with their sandwiches and coffee - well that's their job.

The BBC and the Guardian, once seen as journalistic bastions of fairness and impartiality. Now exposed for lies, bias and deceit
There are still many on here who still quote bbc etc reports on off topic subjects,as evidence of ' truth' ...but in the blink of an eye agree that the footy dept is lies bias and deceit.

A real head scratcher for me that...
