Can't upload the screenshot as it's too big, but in The Telegraph last night, during the 2nd half of our game, there was a live report of the Newcastle/Spurs game but no mention of ours.
Agree but he shouldnt be starting or be our captain , said it last season its costing us , we need a voice , a leader and Bernie isnt it sadlyI don't believe that's true mate. I think Pep's trust in Bernardo has to be dwindling though. Until recently he has regarded him as the last of the old golden era team, the one he could trust to keep the ball and settle games down. It's obvious that his ability to do that just isn't there anymore, he is losing possession more than anyone and doesn't have the pace to rectify errors, he also seems very quiet these days. I suspect this will be his last season, certainly as being a regular starter. I reckon, as with Gundo's latter months, Pep has a bit of sentimentality going on and wants to give Bernardo a chance to get back to form, but I suspect this won't happen.
However, as an aside, we need to remember, many other younger players have also not performed well enough regularly this season, so it may be unfair of us to judge Silva purely on age related matters.
I agree, ran his bollocks off for 60 minutes while also keeping possession. He is actually very good. Work horse when he isn't having a good game.
If you don't rate him though I guess you don't rate him.
Was that last night? I watched it on Sky sports, the pundit seemed to be a Fulham fan or a City hater. Shocvking, had to turn it off.Jay fucking Boothroyd.....in what universe did sky think employing this absolute cretin to comment on football games was a good idea? A bang average footballer and an even worse pundit.

Not even getting into a debate with anyone who starts dropping length of tenure as a reason for thinking they're right.Look he is end of. Nearly 50 years of being a fanatical blue i think im not far wrong fella
Its on now and the disrespect to Haaland from this bellend is just disgraceful. City should just ensure Sky get zero access to Haaland. Boothroyd has spent 20 minutes claiming he's a tap in merchant, bad all round game, nowhere near a PL legend, not as good as Andy Cole or Van Persie, will never be considered a great until he improves his all round game. Was that last night? And the commentator when looking at the var room waiting on the verdict said was that a "thumbs up" before it was awarded. Was that last night? I watched it on Sky sports, the pundit seemed to be a Fulham fan or a City hater. Shocvking, had to turn it off.
Wtf he said that?! He must have come across as very bitter to even non City fans. Its on now and the disrespect to Haaland from this bellend is just disgraceful. City should just tell Sky, if this is how you spin a player breaking a 30 year old scoring record then don't expect to ever speak to him again in post match interviews.
He actually said Andy Cole. He came across as a complete twat and very very bitter towards City.Wtf he said that?! He must have come across as very bitter to even non City fans.
Totally agree with that last sentiment. The club have more power than they think. There's a llot of love out there for Haaland in general.
A baffling decision to take Nico off and play the last few minutes with no defensive mid. Stones was very poor when he came on. The space in front of the centre backs is killing us. Until Rodri is fit we need two holders in there. Nico and someone else. Perhaps even O’Reilly till Kova is fit.Tbh Pep summarised the game really well. I'm glad he agreed that one of our biggest issues last night was defending too deep against set pieces and their press, which resulted in way too much space on the edge of our box when loose balls went out there. From managing teams myself in the past, that is 101 stuff at any level though, don't leave players in space in that danger zone. I'm hoping he pays specific attention to that going forwards.
Also, was Nico injured? If not, it's weird that despite admitting he is our last standing holding midfielder after Rodri and Kova, he takes him off but leaves Silva on.
Been a great player for us but unfortunately one season past his best as have others in previous years.Agree but he shouldnt be starting or be our captain , said it last season its costing us , we need a voice , a leader and Bernie isnt it sadly
His finish last night on the half volley was world class. The Fulham fans were gobsmacked after the match at the sheer pace and movement of Haaland. You can’t see it on TV. One of their fans said to me: “He just creates total havoc.” A perfect comment from someone who has followed his club since the 70s and knows what he is talking about.Well he’s tapped in 100 quicker than all the others.
