Media discussion - 2025/26

I don't know what it's like watching games at the stadium these days - I imagine dreadful - but it's really terrible watching at home: I can't hear the pre-game discussions, then I have to watch the match with the volume turned down so I don't have to listen to idiot and biased commentary, a cup of tea and something to eat at half-time to avoid more ill-informed banality, volume turned down again for the second half and then everything switched off the moment the game finishes.

For me, it's like the pleasure has gone out of the game. Maybe the younger folks like this sort of "enjoyment" but for me it's a dispiriting experience these days, irrespective of performance on the pitch.
For me it's being unable to celebrate a goal due to VAR then how long a decision takes. Am at the Etihad live yet get told the outcome quicker from people watching on TV. That can't be right.

I looked up his career and stats. Its appalling. How he is considered good enough to be a pundit criticising others is beyond belief. Here it is.

In a carrer that spanned just over 20 years, Billy big bollocks played for 12 clubs and scored a grand total.of....wait for it......153 goals....153!!! You couldn't make it up. Absolutely dross as a footballer and even worse as a pundit. Get rid sky!
Ye gods. Those are some stats. Not to be proud of, no danger for Erling there!

The ex-pro's that get these kind of gigs are washed up financially and tow the line to get more work. They're not on the Sky payroll and charge for each appearance.

I split up from my ex-wife 11 years ago and she soon started seeing Matt Elliott, the Leicester "legend". A neighbour gave me the heads up that the plastic cockney Jock tosser had moved into my house, the cheeky ****. He went and did some work in Thailand for LCFC and took my ex and daughter with him so I took the opportunity to visit the (my) house to check if his move in was permanent. I found a file of invoices he'd raised to the likes of Sky, BBC and LCFC. A few of them fell out, so I couldnt help but see the details (arrff). It's surprising how little these ex-pro's get paid.

Your talking maybe £250 for the Sky Soccer Sarurday show, plus expenses. About £75 to co-commentate on BBC Radio Leicester. For an LCFC "Legend" meet and greet for match day hospitality about £250 (7-8 hours weekend work).

Maybe that's why we have to suffer fucking idiots who'll take bottom dollar to pay their bills/debts, and work for peanuts in an attempt to keep themselves relevant.

The snide **** commandeered my jukebox for his shitty man-cave as well. Thieving freeloader that he is.

Bitter? Me? Fucking right I am. Cockney twat.

More Rag PR bullshit from Chris Wheeler at the Daily United.

All United fans want for Christmas is the PL trophy.

And according to Wheeler, Amorin is going to deliver the PL trophy, dressed up as Santa Claws.

bbc (small writing) sport this morning, dippers deflected goal against Sunderland last night was to earn them a well earned point!! last saturday we scored a brilliant Phil Foden late winner, which papered over the cracks, no difference in reporting there then eh!.

To be fair I have really been enjoying the MSM's attempts to paper over the cracks at Anfield and for the past decade or so at OT. I also get enjoyment out of their clear dislike for us, mainly because I have little to no respect for the MSM anyway.
