What does it say about the value of the PL and FA Cup if finishing third in the former and being runners up in the latter is ‘forgettable’.

Thinking about it, no season is ever forgettable, even if it’s for the wrong reasons. There are always talking points and things to remember, if you follow a football club. To suggest otherwise demeans what it means to support a football club.

The use of that language merely serves to underline that the **** that wrote it doesn’t get what it means to support a football club.
I was going to say THAT season under Pearce was hugely forgettable but, of course, it certainly wasn’t…

They have copied Arsenal. Before the kick is taken two players run behind the keeper. They run into the goal net first leaving the field then rush towards the keeper from behind. Meanwhile another player stands directly in front boxing the keeper in. It is just breaking the rules. You don’t have to make contact to impede someone. It’s just a foul. Why are PGMOL allowing this here. It won’t be allowed in the CL or the WC.
And, it won’t be allowed in either of those competitions, by the same referees who are allowing it every week in the PL!

If City had introduced the"Arsenal Corner"
It would have been the dark art of the Century.
Talksport with Jordan, White, Keown etc al would be all over it. Ref watch would make it a weekly event.
On Saturday, I was right behind the goal at Forest and Donnaruma took the situation in his own hands and gave it to Milenkovitch at every corner.
It is a farce, why are the media not covering it.
Every team now has a stipulated keeper disruptor at corners.
If we sign the Bournemouth throw in specialist all sorts of new rules on time wiping the ball, wiping the ball will suddenly come into play for us, similar to our special goalkick rules meaning a quick yellow rather than both the opposition keeper and the sub one not being sent off for repeated offences .

Law 12 states if a player impedes an opponent with contact it's a direct free kick. Happens at every corner.Arsenal are the worst offenders.
They need to ban the attacking players from the 6-yard box until the corner is taken. That solves it.

You can take it further, I complained about a comment, they refused to remove it saying it hadn’t broken the rules, so I complained again and this time they agreed and removed it. To be honest it’s a losing battle, they should be professional enough to do their job, but it’s the BBC.
The unqualified staff doing the junior job of checking comments at BBC online appear to have no knowledge of media law. They routinely allow libellous comments to remain on the site, especially those which disparage City or their Directors. They are the publisher of the content so it is all their responsibility. The organisation seems out of control. Whatever you think of Trump you can’t defend what the BBC did, literally manufacturing fake quotes. Even now the bosses don’t get it. They are still defending their staff. Has anyone been fired yet?

Have they fuck fired anyone.
This is an organisation that protected and covered up for the numerous paedophiles on it's payroll for years so they're not going to fire anyone for something as trivial as manufacturing fake quotes.

Then it's about time the club held them responsible, as publishers, but we know they won't.

We will certainly get plenty back in legal costs. Trump won’t get much compo but the BBC will waste a lot of our money on their childish crusade before settling the case which they absolutely will have to do.
The BBC can't comprehend that outside their bubble some people might not be extreme left wing.

They're allowing it because it's the only way the tarquins can score, other than their opposition scoring own goals.

Sometimes, I just feel that maybe the departure of Daniel Levy from Spurs and Tim Lewis from Arsenal has something to do with the 115 case. these two indivual were behind the push to bring the charges against City despite the clearance from the CAS.
