Media discussion - 2025/26

You cannot ignore the media bullshit around this game , its wall to wall title decider bollocks , and the most surprising is how many pundits think the Goons will still win the league if we beat them, which is deluded , we beat them then we break them for the season , they dont have the gumption to recover from a defeat on Sunday.
Our football clubs mentality from the fans , players , manager cannot be compared , Pep has driven us to 19 trophies in a decade , what has legohead achieved after 6 years and a billion quid ? , its shit or bust for Captain Scarlet on Sunday.

It only decides it if they win. Any other result and it’s in the balance still.

If we beat them and Burnley we will be top on goals scored. Can’t see us blowing it then. They have got three London derbies. Tomorrow is the decider.

11 years later, I very much doubt the incidents were connected, though I believe she should stick to horse racing, she at least knows a lot about that but the beeb like a box to tick and she licks those,

She doesn’t even know that much about horse racing, terrible analyst, Adele Mulrennan, Lydia Hislop, Francesca Cumani, Sally Ann Grassick, Alex Hammond and Leona Mayor are all far better presenters/analysts of Horse Racing.

Yeah, you're right, the daughter of a top trainer and brother to one, has been around horses since first opening her eyes, I bet she knows fuck all about the horses.

She’s still absolutely useless as a Racing presenter and analyst, she may know the anatomy of a horse, doesn’t make her a good judge does it? The fact she’s not on ITV Racing and the Racing Channel’s speaks volumes.

There's a member of our golf club who works for Timeform and is occasionally on TV, he was brought up in a suburban town in Greater Manchester. No connection to horses whatsoever, he knows more about horse racing than Balding could ever dream of, I’d rather listen to him than that fucking idiot.

I just saw one of those shows with presenters & Robbie aftv & Luke mcfc lads, & they were fucking mocking Luke over best 11, defences, squads etc despite him pointing out how the best 11 counts now & you can’t have the best squad & constantly cry.

We are 6 points behind with a game in hand, after 3 games we’d lost 2. So we’ve kept pace since game 4 & now we look peak & they look shot. How the fuck do they think we can be top by next week if theyve been so fucking superior.
