As already posted by several members here, the media have done all they can to unsettle Mario since he arrived. They daily have to face the fact that Mario is fast becoming “the cult figure” in the game but for them Mario plays for the wrong club.
Mediocre players like Craig Burley et al have become less than mediocre pundits spouting endless bitter drivel towards anything related to City. Anybody listening to Burley commentating on the City Spurs game couldn’t fail to hear he was anti City, but especially anti Balotelli from the opening, and Mario wasn't even on the pitch.
So, should we let these Sky/Murdoch driven pundits and journalists decide who should play in England and for what club? A simple answer is no, but perhaps this is the only way they can protect their beloved top four, greasy palmed managers and their over hyped players. Think about it, if they succeed in driving out Mario could Silva or Agüero be next?
Accused, tried and convicted by the media before the actual F.A. hearing. Is this now the way of justice?
