Media & FA attacks making our players want to leave...

As already posted by several members here, the media have done all they can to unsettle Mario since he arrived. They daily have to face the fact that Mario is fast becoming “the cult figure” in the game but for them Mario plays for the wrong club.

Mediocre players like Craig Burley et al have become less than mediocre pundits spouting endless bitter drivel towards anything related to City. Anybody listening to Burley commentating on the City Spurs game couldn’t fail to hear he was anti City, but especially anti Balotelli from the opening, and Mario wasn't even on the pitch.

So, should we let these Sky/Murdoch driven pundits and journalists decide who should play in England and for what club? A simple answer is no, but perhaps this is the only way they can protect their beloved top four, greasy palmed managers and their over hyped players. Think about it, if they succeed in driving out Mario could Silva or Agüero be next?

Accused, tried and convicted by the media before the actual F.A. hearing. Is this now the way of justice?

ive never seen such a massive injurie as what scott scotty parker received from the brutal attack on our own boy hood hero, the blood was gushing from his head, forty stitches he had, it happens every week i tell you, every week, to do that to the outright winner of the sports writers footballer of the year has been nothing short of attempted murder,he is a saint scotty, a saint i tell you. a big fat bollocks you cockerny bitter arseholes

I heard that one of the groundstaff found Parker's brain on the pitch and ate it cos he thought it was a walnut.

Cheers for replies guys.

I am of the opinion that Balotelli cannot be charged because it is impossible to 100% say he is guilty and the charge is open to opinion.

The media are by and large against City and obviously this doesn't bode well for us getting a fair appeal. Too many self-important pundits trying to make a name for themselves by criticising us whenever they het chance. To be fair though Mario brought this on himself, he needs to cut the crap out of his game anyway, hopefully this is the last of his episodes for a while at least.

I still think we can beat LFC without the lad anyway. My team to play LFC would be;

-------------Aguero-------------
Nasri---------Silva---------Milner
--------Barry-----De Jong-------
Clichy--Lescott--Micah--Zabaleta
--------------Hart---------------

Come on City!!!

Dzeko broke his leg or something? We need 2 strikers up front.

And some blues refuse to believe theres an agenda.

Mario's agent has said what a lot of us are thinking. Droopy Jnr seems to have a hatred of Balo and it looks like his old man has done him a favour.

Ideally yes but not one as drastically out of form as Dzeko is. He was alongside Savic as our worse player at Spurs. Nasri looks to be coming into some form and should be played.

Dzeko at the moment is a player lacking confidence. Had this game not been a decisive semi final 2nd leg I would condider him, but for teh game tomorrow we need players in form and playing out of their skin.

This if ref sees it on the pitch thing it's open for corruption say that was Rooney doing that then they ask the ref as he seen it what ever the Fa want they can enforce! I feel all decisions should be decided within 2 hours after final whistle goes because this stops the witch hunt by sky and talksport the following day which could sway the ref and the FA and stops the media frenzy as well

Spot on. Rooney would be being hunted down on this forum, rightly so.

But only on this forum, not by the FA or media.
So its ok for a balo stamp but not a rooney one?

Straw man, tut tut! I have never given my opinion on the alleged stamp but I'm glad to see you accept my premise, bravo!

For what it's worth (absolutely zilch), he probably did attempt and fail to stamp on whoever was behind him but there is enough ambiguity and doubt that should the rules of natural justice apply you'd have to find him not guilty, they don't so he'll be found guilty as charged by 'arry and his pals. Its unfortunate that the media has such an input into this as the pundits I was listening to at the time said "only Mario will know if he did" , it's a shame they've noticeably changed their stance since.
Rooney would have been given the benefit of the doubt, Mario wont be.

that didn't happen with aguero, nasri, silva or dzeko. balotelli is bringing the heat and attention to himself with every action on and outside the pitch. it's not just the latest attempt to stamp on parker.
he got a well deserved and totally unnecessary yellow after only 10 minutes. in the last match against liverpool he attempted to get in a fistfight with adam and went mental and spat at the referee when he didn't get a free kick. if the ref saw it, he could have been sent off at that very moment. that's totally unacceptable behavior and very much unnecessary with the skill and talent he has. he'd be way better with being famous for his finesse shot than being the steve mcqueen of football.

mario escapes ban on motorcyclye
