Spot on JMA.Send that to the MEN before Spencer gleefully prints a load of sentimental bollocks.

I'll be interested to see how they handle it actually.

There natural reaction would be to follow the Sky line and bleat how a nasty foreign rich man has shafted a great British hero.

However, they are always desperate to stay on good terms with the club and act like a PR release for City at times. Interesting decison to be made for tomorrow's paper.

As a side note, I've jsut heard Redknapp and Gray on Sky giving it the 'Hughes is brilliant line' but even Redknapp when launching into his Hughes defence could only muster "I think he can hold his head up high. He's done a, er, er, er, er ..............., er, er,............ a reasonable job" and then banged on about managers being treated unfairly.

Redknapp, one of the biggest bullshitters on tv could not even be two faced enough to claim that he had done a good job, despite it undermining his argument. If a bullshitter like Redknapp, who is desperately trying to argue in your favour, can only manage to say "reasonable" job then it shows that even he knows that he is just towing the 'British managers are great, foreign owners are bad' line.

Shouldn't he be preparing for his day in court?

JMA thanks for your thoughts on the aftermath, you can't help feeling these numpties were cosy in the knowledge that we'd never break top 4 with Hughes and are gutted he's gone because we might now with a much better man with greater tactical awareness and better man management skills, they needed us to fall short because Man City are the last team any of them want to succeed!!
This British manager stuff is old hat now anyway, times have changed the world moves on you have to move with it or stand still and go nowhere!!

It was Redknapp The Younger.

Although I can see how my description of him as a bullshitter does not make this clear. Obviously runs in the family.

Actually, that is not fair. There are plenty of things to dislike about Redknapp senior but compared to his offspring he sounds like Plato when offering his thoughts on things.

Totally agree.

This forum has been doing my tits in with some of the cooments regarding City and Mancini et al.

Thanks for restoring my faith.
