Media persecution of Raheem Sterling

lOl.
That coming from Vinnie Jones.
Put his comments down to shock. Only once. Next time you hear him count the money and put your seat belt on. Never heard him slate Harry Kane, "No, 'Arry, you can't."
Vinnie's [Jones, not Kompany] part was so slow-worded in Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels that Stephen Hawkings could have keyed a smarter return per sentence and looked harder in the role. It's been emotional.

Vinnie Jones, Talkshite, 06.23 - "sometimes you look at Sterling and you think, if he didn't have pace, he'd be playing for Exeter" - to general agreement from Brazil and Quinn
How do talkragshite manage with all the ex-footballers around to find someone like him?

Jones, Saunders, Parlor etc the list goes on, surely there's players out there who would take talkragshite's money and talk some sense.

On topic, I'm supposed to be out in town for the semi but I'm going to duck out as I'll end up getting annoyed with all the Rashford fanboys that'll be around.

And we wonder why English football has been left so far behind for the last 40 years or so?
Let’s go 4-4-2 and hoof it forward up to the ‘big men’! Put it in the mixer! Let’s play the ‘position of maximum opportunity’
All standard typical quotes from the talkSPORT tosses.

It’s amazing though if you listen to talkSPORT 2 it’s more than decent at times.
None of your washed up has beens with their own agendas spouting drivel.
Just the opposite
True. Talks port 2 is much better.

I think you are seeing stuff that aint there.
Racism is definitely a part. No matter how uncomfortable that may feel. 93.20 podcast boys called it out weeks ago. Time to get of the fence and acknowledge what it actually is. Your linekers etc finally begun to acknowledge this a month or two agoband since within many media outlets the focus on sterling has softened but be in no doubt racism is playing a part.

And then they started reading out derogatory comments about Sterling from random punters who had sent texts or tweeted!
They then decided to open it up to a phone in obviously thinking (hoping) Raheem would get more pelters from joe public.
If it wasn't so disgraceful it would be laughable.

Read again what I put and apply some intelligence - The old guard were the media darlings

Throwing out wild accusations of racism is far from cool bud
Minimising what's going on with sterling to being about only footballing tribalism or alliegances, whilst disparaging other factors could also be considered to be equally wild, if not dangerous.

Fortunately, I didn't hear that. It comes on my radio alarm so I can hear if we've signed anybody then listen while I eat my Weetabix. Then off it goes.

I have just 're read chunks of this thread. The point that was most striking; that so many regular posters do not want to believe that British Newspapers are capable of racist undertones.

So politically unaware.
