Seemed fair enough to me. Some City fans do not want to face Liverpool and whether you agree with it or not his opinion was well thought out, we do have lapses at the back and in some games gives away too many half chances disproportionate to the oppositions posession.

If we are bad defensively then Liverpool most certainly are.

Liverpool are a very good side and I agree I would not want to face them in the CL, but they are where they are in the league and other domestic cups because of their inability to defend during the extent of this season.

I don’t think we will win the CL because I do think we give away too many silly chances and goals, but to allude to Liverpool being on a par with City defensively or better is laughable.

Don't really disagree Frank, but that's what happens when we play high risk football; we give away the odd chance, but we also get big rewards.

Too often our team has opted for the slow, easy sideways pass, or the runner down the wing resulting on a head down cross to nobody in particular.

This season we have scored 4× more than we've conceded, and that is no coincidence.

We are also joint lowest goals conceded but you don't hear Jenas whining about the Rag's defence.

That rules Ozil and his lazy walking out of our team for a start, Myxomatosis couldn't even perform for those defensive minded fools next door so pop a blue line through his name.

I thought you were still referring to Ozil, when talking Myxomatosis!

Agree with all that and would wish to lose any of our attacking instinct for improved defensive solidity.

But, on occasions, we have looked a bit uncertain, like Pool away, and I think that is what Jenas alludes too particularly as the likelihood is if we do face a Barca those chance will be more frequent and more likely taken.

With United I do not think there even being talked about as potential winners across the board but if they were it would be their shot shy strack they would focus on.
