Thought this was an interesting watch. Liam Rosenior potential manager in future? Sounds like he wants to go that way.

Eusebio Di Francesco (Coach AS Roma) “I am working to help my team grow. My idea of football is inspired also by Manchester City manager, Guardiola, starting from pressing to get the ball back high up the pitch.” [Corriere dello Sport] #Pep

Says it all......you dont get other managers inspired much by maureen’s style do you lol

Liam Rosenoir absolute class and even Adams recognising what Pep is doing......alyson rudd the cardboard cutout just getting blown out with Rosenoir’s comments coming back at her....just goes to show that some press writers have no fucking clue

She was an absolute joke

F*** off Stone, you BBC Rag arse licker.

It's takes years of Rag Journaisam to spin a positive story into a negative one.

After a trophyless first season under manager Pep Guardiola, City are eight points clear at the top of the Premier League.

They have reached the knockout stage of the Champions League with two games to spare and visit Leicester in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals next month.

The improvement comes after Guardiola spent almost £200m on new players last summer.

Unlike United who spent a similar amount of cash to help their defence based strategy.
City have invested their spend, United have simply churned players without impact.

Great watch and fascinating to see two current players talking reality as opposed to someone who doesn't know her arse from her elbow. I love the quote from Rosenoir 'it's our duty to entertain'. Did you hear that PEG

Having watched that clip I have to thank Alyson for pointing out the reason for our performances so far this season. Mane's red card! Unbelievable

The narrative about the sending of is laughable in the Liverpool game by all the bitter jealous Liverpool supporters in the media! they had ONE clear chance where he bottled it and passed it to ederson plus we were 1 up had another chance from Stones before the sending off! Dean Saunders every time that game is brought up goes on and on about “Liverpool could of been 3 nil up before Mane got sent off” utter drivel bias blinkered cretin.

This! The 1-0 up and being in control of the game at that point is lost on these.

I agree but it was early days for the current style and I seem to recall we had Napoli attacking us for the first 20 mins or so but soon got their measure then won. Liverpool are currently not a Napoli but they (the Pool) may have suffered a worse defeat if they had continued to try to match City.

I think it's abundantly clear from that clip how far she is out of her depth talking about football, especially when up against someone like Rosenior (who I'd never listened to before) who knows what he's talking about. I'm sure she can get away with crap like that if she's in the company of Savage et al but just sounded so clueless there it's unreal.

Liam Rossenoir goes into a very intellectual speach........presenter at 2m55secs turns and says...
“Have we seen better in the premier league do you think alyson ?”........

The reply “tttp..errrrm....probably...yes..i prefer football thats mor...i’m not surprised by City”. Whilst looking like she needs a good shit

Lol

It's pathetic isn't it ?

You have the honest neutrals & then you have the agenda merchants & it's so easy to spot the difference. The funniest thing is that many of the previous agenda merchants have repositioned themselves as 'honest' neutrals, because otherwise, they become joke figures, like that fucking turd in the red top, chewing a wasp whilst two footballers talk sense.

On the same show earlier in the season, Danny Murphy was still in rag publicist mode, & said something along the lines of Mourinho's Utd would beat City 9 times out of 10 only for Craig Bellemy to ask him if he was 'having a laugh'.

I recon Murphy would say the opposite now & one reason is, imo, Sky etc are starting to worry about the feasibility of their previous agenda, & the ability of Mourinho & Co to sell their product.

I don't think it's a coinicidence or pure 'neutrality' that is allowing pundits air time to heap more praise on City & more criticism on Utd/Mourinho, I think they are starting to worry about covering their arses in the future.

Rosenior was excellent & fair play to Charlie Adam for not going 'Liverpool' on us. That show is pretty good I think, when they keep the usual suspects out of it.

The 'journo' from the Times wants sacking.

The other bullshit coming out of her was he had the luxury of not getting the sack after winning nothing spend money and build a team unlike a lot of other managers! Erm Poch and Klopp won fcuk all and been at there clubs longer! Can see her small brain ticking other to downplay anything we do.

He also did the same at Barca, in a situation of turmoil, as a promoted reserve team manager, taking over one of the biggest teams on the planet. Probably a less secure position than 99.9% of Premier League managers have ever started from.

Ha haa....i know she was well and truly exposed on that debate. She wasnt making sense in anything and created more holes in her own words than a football net has.

Shows you what we are up against goesnt it....and dispells any belief that the hacks dissing us all the time know what they are talking about, when we have just witnessed Adams and Rossenoir tell it how it is from a pkayers point of view

Going back to the days when we were shite, we as fans ripped the shit out of Utd & hated them with a passion, of course, but our ex players our managers & our very few media people used to hold their hands up & praise the fuck out of them & even us, as fans watching opponents, we have applauded Arsenal off the pitch when they've given us a twatting, we even applauded Paul Merson off (for Villa ?) when we were suffering. We weren't on Mourinho's case when he started (banter yes but we gave credit where it was due).

By contrast, the time it has taken for us to gain some kind of even handed punditry & the level of resistance by some, even now, just shows what a bunch of self serving ****s have been running the show all these years.

All we have done, even since Hughes, thru Bob, The Pelle & now Pep, is try to play great football.

Wow... if the Editor of the Times sees that he surely has to question why he is employing such a clueless reporter as her!?!
