hmm fair enough. I would say there is a section that do believe there is a set conspiracy to besmirch us but i see what you mean, the issue is mainly the unfair coverage etc. Point taken. (I still believe that 6 team graphic is nothing though)

In isolation, I agree, however it's just the latest in a long line of shit the BBC dump on City. Perhaps that's why so many have got their back up over it.

Not a conspiracy by definition - for that a group of people have to conspire together. In this instance, it is a number of people working for their own benefit i.e. career enhacement, free lance brown envelopes, just a sense of loyalty or a satisfaction by association.

What word is used to describe this standard of reporting is irrelevant, the important point is that it impacts the club's ambition of fan growth in all parts of the world.

Fans of the same club argue on this forum about what name to give this "disease" and not discussing ways to cure or neutralize it. That is what the focus should be.

isn't it to show where Arsenal are in relation to the largest points total they can show in a 6 team template?

The table was to support the mention of Arsenal having gone above Huddersfield by beating West Brom. So they should have shown a "6 team template", wtf, from Chelsea down to Huddersfield, which would have made perfect sense and given the right context to Arsenal's form. But they didn't. Because you've got silly little United fans in the sports media who can't resist having a little joke at City's expense whenever the opportunity arises. That's it. That's all it is. They are sad little sacks.

It's been going on for decades, mate. Back in the 90s, I was living in Eastern Europe and Uwe had gone back to Germany. Kaiserslautern I think. I had the telly on and Eurosport LOL was flickering away in the corner. He was playing at Hertha Berlin and he hit a chance over the bar. The United arselicker voicing over, you know the type of voice, came out with something like "On 70 minutes Rosler had a chance to level the scores but the finish was more Maine Road than Olympic Stadium." I mean on Eurosport, the worst sports channel in the world, that nobody would watch unless there was nothing else on. Nobody would say that unless they were a United fan. And that's it in a nutshell. The media are rotten to the core with them and they can't help themselves, they've got to have a childish little dig and a smirk with their mates. Because United fans are like that. Check out the United ex-player pundits, so childish that not only can they not bring themselves to compliment City, but they have to get some stupid dig in about the crowd or whatever.

But no there's probably some good logical reason why the BBC put that table up. And the reason is so the moron can rub one out with his boyfriend about it.

You would need to be woolyheaded if you did not now think there is an anti City media agenda.

The evidence is all around & perfectly transparent from muen through the bbc & daily fail etc. e.g. lukarkys transfer cost 75 mill whereas Kyle cost 54 mill. Or maybe lets have a poll about sane being sent off. WTF.

Also these lazy, lying, biased so called journos make not the slightest attempt to disguise it.

the term 'media agenda': this is the thing that I want sorting.

Is this a top down, editor driven clique that all hate City and/or stand to prosper from our mis-representation?
Is this a media wide campaign, top to bottom, to discredit or belittle us?
Is this 100% clickbait and advertising driven?
is this a few content managers, sub editors and journos with chips on their shoulders who cant resist a dig or cant bear us doing well?

a combo? none of it? has anyone tried any sort of metrics for perceived positive/negative articles?>

This thread just goes round in circles. Same stuff regurgitated 100 times. It ain't going to change because a few people on a forum don't like it. Why is it a surprise this week when it's been going on for 9 years? Why would it suddenly change?

Do you work for the BBC?

I propose that you are the man to sort it.
Could you provide an interim report by the end of September, draw up a couple of sub committee's, a project manager would be helpful and I expect a full report with recommendations by Xmas.
