I think mourinho has played a blinder here, nobody is talking about them getting owned in their own backyard by us, it's all about milkgate and the handbags. That's about the only thing he is good at, he's a busted flush otherwise.

I don’t agree. Two things are going on here. First, the usual click bait avenues are doing what they do best, pandering to their target audience. People are talking about the fight in the tunnel because that audience just doesn’t want to hear about the way the rags got humiliated on their own patch.

The second thing that’s going on is that serious football writers - and the overwhelming majority of people who played the game - are talking about the lessons to be learned from that one game. This is where you will hear words and phrases like ‘another level’, like ‘humiliation’ and like ‘blown away’. Read Martin Samuel’s piece. Watch the football writers podcast on BT.

The other thing is that if you look at some overseas media there is only one topic of conversation: one of the great managers leading one of the great teams just got shat on from a very great height.

Plenty of people are talking about the way the rags got owned in their own backyard.

why when i read sky sports headlines it is always swayed in favour of Utd, so fkin sick of it even now we have fucked them over... Apparently Maureen is questioning the city players are educated enough and in another Pep has "Encouraged" his players to celebrate. Whilst other sports news are talking about this being a defining time for manchester teams and even football philosophy, Sky are busying changing wording and producing headlines text to excuse Utd.... That there is fake news. Feckers fecking skyfox news fake news twats.

I just saw the same on ITV. Mourinho this and Mourinho that, Pep denied over celebrating but admitted his role in encouraging the celebrations, blah blah. Bunch of unbalanced sh8s.

Saying now we shouldn’t celebrate as we’d be doing the team talk for them next time. Utter ****, rags have rubbed our noses in it for far too long and paybacks a woman. Get it both barrels everytime.

Being a recent manager of Scotland, i'm surprised he even knows about such a word or action.

Tyler......you ****. in the game during a battle in midfield a city player won a high ball with a flick on and tyler came in with all the analysts say thats a foul, it happened so quick. His comment came during the incident....and he left out the fact that the only analysts in that fucking dump are scum supporters anyway..... so then they all are not analysts, the are all scumming ****s ...just like Tyler.

I
t was a perfect example of the drivel he spouts and lies he airs, tyler fuck off away from covering our games!!

There was the one about "suspicion of handball" after Sane had controlled the ball with his thigh. Just before DeGea saved at his near post.
The only fucker that raised that suspicion, was him.

Very clever man our Jose. Created a total smoke screen that the sad media bought hook line and sinker.
Please don't focus on our team worth 350million completing ONLY 54 passes in first 49 minutes (first half plus injury time). Also the fact that we had lowest home possession EVER since records began at Old Trafford as Rat boy admitted later . What we did there was special only a great Barca or Real Madrid have or can come near that at Old Trafford. Our media are just sad pawns. Samuel is about the only one who's opinion is worth anything. A credit to his trade.
Is it clever though?

It's a diversion but I'm not sure his diversion achieve anything any more.

Aye, people are seemingly quick to praise "mind games" and diversionary tactics as clever, but never bother mentioning whether or not it actually helped the team. How clever are his "mind games" from before the derby now?

With the people going on about Strachan:

I watched him on The Debate and he was actually extraordinarily complimentary. He had his way about it but he was effusive in his praise.
