Shame, got what we deserved today and as long as we learn from it and move on then no long term damage done.

Yes it was a shame but the unbeaten record was a long way off and in some ways it might ease the burden on the players. Still in a great position in the league and 8 cup games from winning two cups which could result in a clean sweep of trophies domestically.

In some ways, although I think we did not hit our usual heights, we came out if the game with a lot of credit. Two winnable games to come and six days of rest before the next one and as Pep says you sometimes learn more and improve more from defeats and adversity

Out of interest when did Anthony Taylor admit this? Have you got a link?

I was responding to a poster who claimed ‘everyone knows Martin Tyler is a red’ with the actual reality being everybody says they know he is a red but nobody actually knows it because he has never said he is a red and claims he supports Woking.

Similarly we have Anthony Taylor who ‘everybody knows is a red’ but the truth is nobody knows for sure. You could include half the press pack in there aswell who ‘everybody knows are reds’

Evening Frank - strange as it may seem (apparently) sometimes people who were born and raised in Wythenshawe and openly admit to having made regular trips to the Swamp as a kid, really are rags! As for Tyler, he may or may not be a rag. What he definitely is, is someone who adheres rigidly to his employer’s brief of brown nosing the teams with the biggest global fanbases, hence the mezzo soprano screaming when Roooooooooney or Martiaaaaaaaal or Coutinhoooooooooo scores a goal and the funereal ‘matter of fact’ tone he engages for all City goals. The only time he diverted from that path where we’re concerned, was when Sergio scored against QPR, a moment so dramatic that anything other than a tonsil tearing response would have made him look foolish

To be honest I do not know about Anthony Taylor (probably like everybody else) but I very much doubt Martin Tyler is and I think he recently confirmed he is a Woking fan which would be extremely foolish to lie as many people would know of his persuasions and could easily confirm which team he supported.

The wider point being were quick to claim people are ‘definite reds’ but with little in the way to support it. Henry Winter is flavour of the month with blues at the minute but he was ‘outed’ in the past.

Probably been said before but after Tyler's "Aguerooooo" for the winner v QPR there was a ten second silence in his commentary before he went on with his "I swear you'll never see anything like it again .. " etc, which he explained later by saying he wanted to let the cameras do the talking. I've always thought he hit the mute button and cursed away to himself off the air out of sorrow for the rags.

Come on mate. Do you honestly believe that. If your mate come forward and told his story it would be front page news and make him a fortune.
