That's a strange distinction. Doesn't quite add up.
I guess an agenda would be implying that the media is targeting us specifically for some reason or another. Whereas there are possible reasons for negative press without it being an agenda. For example if the media were simply more positive to teams with a traditionally larger fanbase and our negative press is more consequential.

Not sure where I stand on the issue but I can see the idea that there's a distinction

And the daft **** adds to our traffic lol.
Cheers .
Loved Pep's reaction to that rag prick Stone shit stirring about Aguerro getting injured in a taxi in Holland. Don't know what you're talking about you arsehole, ask something sensible or fuck off you rag prick

Your guessing. Many of us know the score.

No I was trying to help differentiate that there might be a difference between an agenda and coincidental negativity without explicitly saying how I feel on it.

I won't pretend I know too much on the situation as much of the media inner workings go under the radar (which is why I am on the fence somewhat). Like I know the media treat us like shit often and I'm pretty sure I point out the over the top Rashford love more than any other poster on this forum but I don't know exactly why beyond speculation due to a lack of hard evidence. But seeing as you do I'm open to sources of information that'd help enlighten me thanks.

The first 6 articles on Daily Mail are about City and extremely praiseworthy of us. Just shows that if we win these big games and perform, the media will be onside.

Might be me but that post match press conference seemed very different last night

Even Pep was different. Like suddenly the penny had dropped for all the hacks and Pep felt like he had no convincing to do anymore or no justifying things. The results were their on the pitch for everyone to see

The narrative that the premier league's much harder, Pep needs to adapt blah blah blah is gong to be very very difficult to perpetuate when you completely school the current champions and arch exponents of the existing paradigm in their own back yard for 93 minutes

It was like "shit we better ask some real questions and actually listen to the answer because I have to have understand this stuff"

Tony Cascarino on Talk Sport just now saying what we all know.... ‘’this station and some papers have had it in for Pep and City. I have been asked to write such articles on several occasions but have resisted because of what we saw yesterday (Chelsea performance)’’

Confirms agenda.

He also then waxed lyrical about Pep and City saying everyone should like what they are seeing at City.

Is he on twitter, perhaps someone should ask for some clarification.

And if confirmed... pass up the City tree.

When you understand the media, it's owners and agendas it's easier to watch and listen to the bias .Whereas I think for those that don't understand and have a default position of denial, then many say haven't listened to talksport for years or turn off Sunday supplement. Better I believe to watch and listen and understand.

Missed the Cascerino comments. But if true they are a damming confirmation.

Editors write the shit, then get a numpty like merson to signature it for a drink or two.

I know @franksinatra personally, and I can tell you he readily admits we get a lot of negative press, what he does say, is there is no agenda. Something we agree to disagree on.
bet you both have utd season tickets at sit next to each other :)

I'm actually in the frank camp when it comes to the media, but don't have the bottle to say it

oh shit,
where's the edit button
where's the edit button

WHERES THE FUCKING EDIT BUTTON

Yep. I'm sure he got Stone's number pretty early on & now sees him coming a mile off in conferences
