This is the tweet from James Ducker that appeared in that Irish article

Fuch me that’s more Duncan Castles than Duncan Castles is himself. Where was his concern about alarmingly inconsistent officiating when Aguero got a ban for violent conduct last season against West ham when Lukaku can kick a Liverpool player’s head and get away with it, and then kick a Brighton player even more blatantly and get away with it again? Where was his outrage about alarmingly inconsistent refereeing when Sterling was sent off for celebrating a goal with the fans when no other player has been booked for the same thing this season? Where was his anguish about alarmingly inconsistent officiating when Wenger can accuse Sterling of systemic cheating in the media without a hair being turned yet Guardiola is asked to explain his actions on Wednesday.?

This isn’t about City v United. It’s about alarmingly inconsistent journalism. None of it makes sense.

The brainless shameless comparison between Guardiola going on the pitch when the ball was dead, and Mourinho stepping onto the pitch while the ball was live and in the opponents' possession is just plain embarrassing.

Just different situations, but this is ignored by the chump hacks. Wait for Sunday morning when he'll let fly on Sky.

Just nipped to wickes and had radio X on. johnny Vaughn was basically saying that city are too good and they need to give everyone else a chance, to which his sidekick argued
"To be fair, guadiola has started coaching the opposition players as well" to which they both burst out laughing, made me chuckle too

You called him a numpty earlier but no one else can have an opinion?

he is a numpty for showing contrition as the media have already spun it into an admission of guilt, which they'll now use to say he did something wrong (even when he didn't) and beg for him to be charged. If he'd just told them to go swivel (in the politest terms) they'd have nowhere to go.

I was disagreeing with him btw. Other opinions are available, they're just wrong.

The media make me sick. Their blatant love of the rags is sickening. We can expect to have cards delivered like confetti on Sunday, and if not SLY sports will have every incident involving a potential ban on play loop.
Disgusts me.

Me too.

Ferdinand on the Graham Norton radio show today, had to knock the slack mouthed **** off, plugging (pun intended) his book about his dead wife, really!!! you have already shacked up with some other semi celeb ffs.

With regards to the Mourinho comments I don't think he really said anything wrong. Reading the full thing it's clear that the media were asking him loaded questions and he was trying to avoid it; an opinion or two was always going to slip through.

That's right, I'd rather side with Mourinho ahead of the media. What a lovely state of affairs.

He knows he overstepped a little. It's a strength to admit when you've made a mistake, not a weakness.

Can't believe how wound up you get over the smallest thing. He won't get charged and we'll move on.

100%. But I also think it's naive to believe that honesty is the best policy. Especially with the FA and our media involved.

It seems we are not allowed to have an agenda thread anymore but I find it amazing that no one on here has mentioned that Sepp Blatter has openly stated that Uefa used hot and cold balls during certain un-named draws. Ok he is a bent bastard who should not be trusted with the tea fund but it is a remarkable thing to say.

Oh and Uefa have denied it, well they would wouldn't they.

Not very classy from pogba at all..i I've never wanted any Utd player to get injured and suffer..or any player of any other team for that matter. Very unprofessional of him. I couldn't wait to see him back in action like all other top players..very sad indeed.

Sepp Blatter says something and it must be true........
