tell me, would you read an article by a staunch feminist? or a raving lesbian

Hmmm...how does this fit in with anything I said? To the best of my knowledge *Sampson told Aluko not to bring Ebola to the country*, some posters on this board have said Matthew Syed was a mouthpiece for Sampson against Aluko, something I wasn't aware of and which disgusts me.

Would I read an article by a staunch feminist? or a raving lesbian?

That would depend entirely on what they were writing/raving about. For example, if they were calling for land to be confiscated and a return to the feudal rule of William the Conqueror or that all women become lesbians then I would probably not make a habit of reading their articles. The fact they were feminist/lesbian would be immaterial to me. What I choose to read is not determined by a writer's gender/race/sexual orientation/religion etc, the thought of doing that actually offends me.

* as reported by The Guardian.

Now there’s a blog I would be interested in reading.

Jokes aside, no person that fits those descriptions is by default in the same moral low ground as a misogynist or bigot, so I would be more inclined to read their work.

They are just impassioned advocates of the rights of (and certain methods of protecting) a group of people, which is not the same as a person advocating (openly or through continued subtext) for discrimination or mistreatment of a group of people.

There are many a “journalist” that fit into the bigoted group that I avoid as much as possible as I do not want to give any encouragement (clicks, ad revenue, or otherwise) to their brand of discourse.

Just seen your post, SebastianBlue. Thanks for saying it better than I ever could have.

Fuck them all. In a few years one of the Internet giants will snaffle up the tv deal and there'll drawing universal credit.

Seems that the m.e.n united fanbase are now towing the line that united and moureen can out do City and Pep with a champions league win......

Oh dear....

Yeah of course it is Gary. Amazing how they bury the truth under a pile of shite and lies.
I do remember we got slated for signing Bernardo and sane and putting sterlings place in jeopardy and us going for Sanchez even threw raheems position up in the air yet here we have the same happening at the ministry of lies but it's normal.
What an absolute joke.

Thought this link was worth posting on Peps revolutionary tactics with the use of two number 8s

Brilliant read and very insightful article, does make the valid point as too what the English National team could of achieved (not that I’m too arsed like) if Pep would of been in charge of the ‘golden generation’ - he would if for sure managed to find Lampard and Gerrard working effectively in the same team

It makes me think back to a player like Kinkladze and how he got shunted around with managers failing to get the best out of him.

Arguably that is the essence of Pep as a manager. He looks at his players and creates a system most suited to the players he has, not forces his players into a system which negates their talents.

When you look at the combined influence of Silva and KDB this year and think back to previous systems when KDB was shunted out on the left etc.

Whenever I hear Gary Neville criticise City, I can't help but recall a funny and clever Swahili proverb I learned off a mate at uni "Nyani haoni matako yake" literally means 'a monkey cannot see its behind', behind being my polite version of the Swahili word. United and their sycophants are in no position whatsoever to criticise City. United are an embarrassment to football and have been for at least five years now.
