The hangers on at the red top clubs (or at least their social media followers) all go on about us not being rivals. I wonder how long it will take to change their minds as they discover they are only rivals with certain clubs in competing for the second place losers spot. Unless of course the media discover second is the new first.

Second was the new first, the media even had Liverpool fans wanting a new trophy minted.

At the moment, Liverpool are our rivals as we have been the top dog for a while, and rivals include anybody who has the gumption to stay the course. It’s the media who have turned the narrative and somehow deluded people into thinking that we are the rivals, using the old history quotes to alter the fake script.

I prefer to think we don’t have any rivals domestically at least.

I think next season Tuchel will make it Chelsea who are our main rivals. Maybe dippers if they get back on the meds
