Fcking bbc(who else)footy page, keeping up the hate in the absence of games(and probably deflecting from their red babies thrashings too), with the article headed, SORIANO DEFENDS MAN CITY SPENDING, The headline alone is enough to have our detractors drawing their swords in readyness, and the first paragraph of the "article" does not dissapoint, including the line, Soriano has defended the clubs decision to "SPEND OVER £120 MILLION ON NEW PLAYERS AT A TIME WHEN MANY LOWER-LEAGUE COUNTERPARTS ARE FACING A BLEAK FINANCIAL FUTURE DUE TO CORONAVIRUS"....fcking hell we are a horrible club. It aslo contains that sourpuss quote "DIAS FEE WOULD RUN LEAGUE TWO FOR A SEASON", christ!!! those with drawn swords should now be banging at he doors of the Etihad. It does mention net spend but includes no figures, just Soriano stating that we sold Sane for £49m and bought Torres for "£23m", hmmph, Sorianos words so bound to be less than the £30+m reported everywhere else, inc bbcs own unbiased "journalists". Now, for those who serously believe we are not singled out by the likes of the bbc,sky etc as examples of whats bad about football...... Why choose City AGAIN for this type of article when chelsea have spent a LOT more, and why not mention net spend figures in an article about spending, could it be that man u have a BIGGER net spend??, bloody hell!!, even ASTON VILLA, EVERTON AND LEEDS have a bigger net spend this summer. Even the most ardent deniers of media bias have to ask questions, it is relentless, and we are now the "go to" team to quote in articles concerning footballing negatives. It is like one of those medical conditions that creeps up on you over the years, slowly but surely undermining your health without you realising until its too late, and now that disease is fully manifested in 99% of media output tripe. Our owners are fantastic, and have done loads for the community etc,as well as making a success of City in the face of ongoing adversity. If you dont put this down to racism fuelled hatred, then one can only assume its because we have trodden on the toes of the medias "chosen" clubs and that a large majority of the footballing press are biased, arrogant ,jealous, lying twats......its as simple as that.
I saw that too. Shocking, unnecessary ‘journalism’.

Reading such dreadful, partial and often untrue articles about us on a regular, almost daily basis requires me to defer to the words of wisdom uttered by ‘Prestwich Blue’ and others on such ‘journalistic matters‘.

I am due to have my ears syringed soon but I think I heard them say that football journalists are ‘cooking funts’..

Compare the MEN coverage, which is a straight factual report within the context that Sorriano was on an online forum, with the BBC report that has been twisted and linked to an unrelated story from last week. There is something seriously wrong at BBC Online sport.
It's called Dan Roan.

Presumably, the Queen, Richard Branson, James Dyson and other very rich people should not be allowed to spend money as there are people having to go to food banks to survive.

I had no idea that our media had grown so Left-wing. Or is it that City is a special case, reserved as a magnet for ignorant hatred, thereby diverting it from the proper targets? I think the latter is more probable.

It's called Dan Roan.
Roan certainly hates City and is totally unbalanced in the way he covers us. Yesterday for example he re-tweeted a bizarre tweet from Tariq Panja mocking City for their Twitter site breakdown. It included the usual long thread of comments from people attacking our club's owners, many of them racist. I can't see how that can be justified by the BBC. Re-tweeting content is promoting it.
But there is also an issue on the Editing desk where elements are introduced to stories just to spice up the anti-City angle, in this case the unrelated Shanahan comments from a week ago.
The BBC carried a preview of the Rui Pinto trial a few weeks back. That's a perfectly valid thing to do but they inserted an unattributed phrase which said that data had shown "the influence of Gulf Arab individuals on football clubs." That phrase just isn't true and there is nothing related to the Pinto case about Gulf Arab individuals. It's not in any of the 90 charges and not even Der Spiegel used that obviously racist phrase. That's a problem within the BBC sports desk.

SSN gushing over 5 years of Klopp and his whirlwind of success, which consists of 1 Premier League trophy and 1 Champions League trophy

yet somehow Pep with his 2 league titles, 3 league cups and 1 FA cup, being the only manager to get 100 points and the only manager to win the domestic treble, is constantly under question

unbelievable
Also a puff piece on the positives & negatives of The Rags transfer window. Cavani being quoted as a potentially good influence on the younger strikers. Someone else pointed out that he does not speak a word of English - not sure how he's going to communicate that positive influence.

Was it by shagging his brothers wife and dropping out of friendlies on the request of his pisscan of a manager.

Because the only time this fuckwit rocked up for an International was when he had the opportunity to further his own name in the sport. He couldn't have given two shits about Wales and is now only the coach there because nobody else in their right minds would touch the illegitimate rag ****.

Harsh, but true.
