Looks like trouble in paradise. After years of indulging his descent into embittered insanity, looks like even Miggy has had enough of MacKenna’s defence of far right Covid deniers

At least Delaney is right about McKenna’s ridiculous argument about COVID19 but on all things City they are both twats.

Poor little old united, only spent 700 million on players in the last 4/5 years and the highest wage bill in the history of english football, but lets pedal a myth they are cant afford to spend like City. Fucking pathetic.
they have spent more than us since they last won the league

There was a discussion in the sky studios with carragher and the tone was city need the champions league to be a great team. Has anyone else noticed whenever the league looks wrapped up it is almost dismissed and they turn their focus to the champions league as a stick to hit us with? It happens so many times.

Yep, here's the goal post moving festering pile of shite.....

There's so much wrong with this article.

9 teams topped the table this season. Spurs, United and Liverpool were all supposed to go on and win before we arrived from the back of the pack.

This is an extract from Luke Edward's column about Liverpool having the quality to win a second title

Manchester United have pulled level, Manchester City’s warm breath can be felt on their necks, while Leicester City, Tottenham, Everton, Aston Villa and, yes, Southampton, as well as Chelsea remain close enough to strike.
Does that sound like a one horse procession?
Then there's this - How Frank Lampard has turned Chelsea into Premier League title contenders

Alexis Sanchez. Fred. Jorginho. Maguire. All transfer's city backed out of for financial problems. All under Pep.

There have been nine 10+ point margins of victory in Premier League history so far. Manchester City are currently responsible for 1. Manchester United 4. Arsenal, Chelsea & Leicester 1.

In fact 3 of our 4 league titles post-takeover have been won by 3 points combined.

My favourite para from that article:

"But the really troubling thing is that City are the only club over the last few years who have been consistent in challenging for the main prize. They will have finished first or second four years running in May."

Meanwhile United in the 1st 21 years of the PL before the fall off in 13/14:

1st 13 times
2nd 5 times
3rd 3 times

Luke Edwards knows all this but for his own or the paper's editorial reasons has gone all-in on the City are bad mantra. I wonder why that is? :)

She made an excellent point about paying a lot for young players in relation to possibly paying 100m for Harland. We paid 37m for Sergio in 2011. Divide that fee by the years we’ve had him, factor in the results he has given us, and it’s possibly the best piece of transfer business ever done by any team anywhere.
Wasn't it revealed a few years ago that the actual fee paid for Sergio was only £28 million?!!
